Take your business elsewhere this company is the worst. Their shipping sucks, and their return policy sucks. I waited for my shipment all day just to find out that the delivery was delayed. No one called. I had it rescheduled for today February 1, again waited all day, no one showed, no one called. Why should i be penalized because I would rather take my business else where. I am getting hit with restocking fees and return shipping fees. Which I should not be charged any shipping fees since the item never reached.

I couldn’t be more impressed with Contemporary Furniture Warehouse! I ordered a mid century modern tulip table and it arrived perfectly packaged in relatively fast time. Unfortunately it had a manufacturing flaw that caused a split to the top. They responded within 30 minutes of my online request for a replacement and sent a new top out immediately. No hassle — stress — or problems. Seriously amazing customer service!!!

I ordered items from Contemporary Furniture Warehouse through the website Houzz. The communication prior to them shipping my items was tedious and slow, and it took them weeks to ship anything. It took about 6 weeks then for items to arrive. One of the 3 items I ordered, arrived damaged and missing parts. I had to go through several employees before anyone would remedy this. They had to file a claim before they could re ship the item. Even though they have a base in Los Angeles(I am also in CA) all items had to be shipped from New Jersey. It took about 3 weeks for the claim to be filed and the replacement shipped. It took another 4 weeks for the replacement to arrive. It arrived in a crate that was totally solid wood and staples. I’d asked that their freight company open the second delivery instead, so I could be sure I didn’t accept a damaged item, or something with missing pieces the second time around. The freight company wouldn’t do this despite CFW saying they’d make sure the freight company did. I had to go purchase a crowbar and get several helpers to get into the crate. Luckily it was ok on second delivery. I’d have given 1 star over this experience, but bumped up to 2, due to the items being nice once I got the replacement, and they offered a partial refund after it was all over. The refund was kind of a drop in the bucket though, really minimal compared to cost of the item, plus all the waiting and hassle. That is why I’d didn’t bump up more stars based on the partial refund.
