Of all the places in the Beverly Hills’ Golden Triangle to have lunch, I picked a chain restaurant. Yes, that’s lame, but I came to try their Thanksgiving leftover sandwich, «The Bobbie».(Isn’t a Bobbie a British police officer?) The sliced turkey, cranberry sauce, and seasoned bread stuffing created a good sub. It’s a little on the dry side and would be better if the mayo was replaced with gravy. The bread was a bit elastic. Also might be better warmed. Capriotti’s is still better than most fast food chains including the Subway a couple doors away.

I love Capriotis Bobby sandwich and the ColeTurkey is always a favorite. Too bad these folks can’t get off their buts to show a little flexibility and make a delivery 2 blocks away while I’m stuck in the bank trying to deal with my late mothers estate on an empty stomach. Bad customer service bad attitude. Very much in contrast to the shop that used to be in Encino. I miss those folks they were customer focused not asshats.

Located off Wilshire in the heart of Beverly Hills sits a rather low key sandwich shop frequented by college and HS students with a peppering of local business folks. I was in the mood for a quick lunch and didn’t want the formalities of a restaurant so I passed a Subway Sandwich shop and went to Capriotti’s. I have a feeling I’d like this place more if I’d chosen a different menu item. I got some sort of «thanksgiving like» sandwich that had turkey, stuffing and cranberries on it. It just didn’t do it for me. It seems like the people who work here are friendly and down to earth. I think if you want a break from the norm of Beverly Hills this is a great place to grab a sandwich.

The staff wasn’t very attentive or friendly when I came in. There weren’t that many people in line but they seemed to be focused on phone orders. No hello or how are you or we’ll be with you in a minute. When I interacted and asked to order I was then directed to two women behind the register. When it was my turn neither of them or the manager standing next to them even looked at me. Eye contact was a challenge for every employee. Sandwich was pretty good but not made correctly to my order. Sadness that this is the face of a good sandwich shop.

Amazing sandwiches! The pulled turkey and the cheese steak sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The capistrami is very very good as well. Bummed the valley location closed. Guess I’ll be seeing you guys in Beverly Hills!

Hands down — best subs in LA! Their bread is so soft and delicious. I love their thanksgiving sub, they use REAL turkey and it really tastes like my homemade leftover thanksgiving subs. They are also so nice and friendly and the prices are amazing for the amount of food that you get. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a delicious, fresh sandwich for lunch!

Major league disappointment! I got they’re version of a Sloppy Joe which has bbq, and Russian dressing. It was plain awful. I literally felt sick eating it. The meat, was… nasty. The sandwich was dripping with dressing that was just, bad. That’s all folks.

Good luck, every other sandwich place. Capriotti’s staff are nice. Their food is fantastic – and you can order it as clean as you want. They’ve never messed up my order. The roast beef is insane(almost skirt steak) and the turkey is very obviously carved off of a whole bird. I’d deduct a star for their bike-only delivery, since it’s a pain to park there… but it actually isn’t Really a pain to park. There’s always enough on the side streets SOUTH of Wilshire, and you can park, cross at a designated crosswalk like an obedient human, get your sandwiches and fountain drinks, cross back, and head out in a reasonable amount of time. They have outdoor seating on the correct side of the street(surprisingly rare to find that and clean food in LA) and the inside is fine for a quick bite. This is my grubhub(uh, eat24?) go-to for all day work meetings.

I can see why there are advertisements plastered across the restaurant calling the Bobby sandwich one of the best sandwiches in Los Angeles. It’s taste is addicting, and this review would have been a five star review, but there were two instances where I had found turkey bone fragments in the sandwich. Next time be more thorough in the cut.

Went today 9÷17÷2015 and felt like a good ‘ol cold Italian sandwich. I have to be honest it was one of the best Italian sandwiches I have ever had. My first experience was good my second was even better.

Bomb. Huge fan of their tuna sandwiches. I always order online and they’re pretty good at having my sub ready when I come in. Great sandwich spot and customer service is always on point.

I used to be a loyal customer here until today. I ordered a medium sandwich ahead of two other gentlemen who ordered the same thing. Both got their sandwiches ahead of mine while I was basically forgotten until I had to talk to the manager and inquire where my food was, they then had to make it from scratch. On top of that, my medium sandwich was more like a small, while my friend who ordered the small got a medium. Worst part was I was not even offered an apology of any kind and the store was fairly busy so I did not make a scene. For all the times I’ve dined here, enjoyed their food, this experience was enough to take my lunch money elsewhere. We also occasionally get Capriotti’s catered at work, so I have talked with our concierge and have told them to suspend any further Capriotti’s catering. TLDR: The food is good, bread is inconsistent and if crowded(during lunch hours) the service can be spotty and your order may get messed up.

I have to be honest in that I have had mixed experiences coming to this location. There have been a few times when the cashier really didn’t seem to know what they were doing and made the experience not so great. However, this last time was great. I ordered some food for takeout right at closing time and it was also rush-hour. I had no where to park and I just wanted to grab my food and get back home so I called in advance of pulling up to the front and the cashier ran out to me with the credit card receipt and my food and delivered it right to my car. I wish I got her name but I wasn’t able to but she was a very nice Latina woman, younger. She rocks!

The Pros: The food is great… and being from the east coast… they carry Tastykakes which I never can find anywhere. I come here for«The Bobbie»… it is Thanksgiving year-round. Most of the time I come in around lunch time and the service is decent… not a place for small talk… which is fine. However, my last experience was not okay… very rude and definitely makes me not want to return to this location They are open 10 – 5, and I went in around 4:30 to order my sandwich and they told me they had already closed the grill for the day and couldn’t make me a sandwich. Um… you close at 5… not 4:30… which is around the time some people get off and since there is a lot of retail in Beverly Hills… this would be a busy time I would think. They tried to apologize and ask how they could help … «Um, I just want my sandwich… which obviously you can’t do since you are not really open». Apparently milking the clock for a half hour. If you are stating you are open til 5… then you should be able to serve customers until 5. When you have a chain competitor just 3 doors down… and I have never seen Capriottis’ packed… you might not want to hand them your customers. Luckily, there is the location in Culver City… but it did not cure my work lunch craving. Sadly, it is this experience that will make me think twice before coming… because I wouldn’t want to inconvenience the workers to… MAKE A SANDWICH during their posted hours.(I can understand MAYBE5 minutes before… but a whole half hour!!!).

I rarely go to chain restaurants, BUT the offerings at Capriotti’s I find superior to places like Grossway/Noway/Subway and other sandwich shops. SPECIALS The Bobbie — sub-style sandwich with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. GOODLORD it’s like the day after thanksgiving anytime of the year. Cran Slam Club — continuing with the Thanksgiving theme, this triple decker sandwich has shredded turkey meat, ham lettuce, mayo and cranberry sauce.

Capriotti’s is a solid fast food sandwich shop that uses above average ingredients and an interesting menu to keep customers coming back. The chain originated somewhere in the midwest, I believe. I personally am a huge fan of the Bobby Sandwich. If you go to this place, be careful about the size of the sandwich you order — the smallest is 9″, not 6″ like at Subway. And the 12″ sandwich here is ACTUALLY12″, I believe, as opposed to Subway where the«footlong» seems to really be only 10″ or so(or maybe it’s 12″, but it seems to be a weak 12″). If you come with a friend and want to save some money, if you want the same sandwich, you can get a 20″ sandwich for less than two 9″ sandwiches of the same type, and by default they’ll actually split the sandwich into two anyway, so it’s quite a deal.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Capriotti’s yet! This was my absolute go-to spot when I used to intern out in Beverly Hills. Just a block away from the office, in the midst of places that sold tiny, $ 12 salads, Capriotti’s was a godsend. First off, the prices are great, especially when you’re guaranteed to get full, no matter what you get, and when you’re a college intern with a budget. Capriotti’s is similar to any other good, chain sandwich shop but with the distinction of incorporating turkey(like, Thanksgiving turkey) into some of their subs, which is amazing. I’ve gone all over the menu, but the Cap’s Specials are named so for a reason; definitely can’t go wrong any of those, my favorite being the Cole Turkey.

We had been to Capriottis years ago in Vegas and have been wanting to try it again since moving to CA. If you sign up on their website you get a free upgrade to a 12′ so we did and we went. Cheesesteaks for the boys, veggie cheesesteak for me. The girls working were nice and it was ready in descent time but nothing like I remember. The soy protein they used copied chicken which I didn’t notice till too late, I should have totally gone with eating real meat. No flavor, pale and lame, i was pretty disappointed. The guys sandwiches were great but not much on there, the bread a bit soggy and could have been toasted. I would have liked more topping options other than sweet or hot peppers though both were good. Also, $ 10 for a 12″ is steep, honestly I would rather get a $ 5 footlong. It was fine but not worth going back.

Their sandwiches are amaze balls. Free 2 hr parking on Bedford Drive. Bobbie Sandwich — Thanksgiving in a sandwich. The turkey meat is moist which is usually my biggest gripe with turkey. I truly despise dry turkey. Capastrami Sandiwch — I love this one. The mix of pastrami and mayo is perfect. The small size is already so big to stuff you. 2 sandwiches and a drink were $ 20.

I wanted to see what all this hype was about«The Bobbie». It looks like something I would love since thanksgiving is my favorite«food» holiday. «Bobbie» did not disappoint. I’d get it again, but would try a different sandwich first. Or swap half with a friend. Best way to sample lots of different food. LOL

In a nutshell: Thanksgiving in your mouth. But, without the family drama! So, this is my 100th review. Yeah. Was debating on which place to review but then realized crap, I have a lot of review to write so just do it.(Nike please don’t sue my broke Asian ass) Where can you get a decent meal in Beverly Hills? Capriotti’s Where can you get Thanksgiving wrapped into a sandwich? Capriotti’s Parking: Meter/street parking. Pro-tip. Watch out for street parking officers. When I came, I saw several cars getting ticketed. So, check the signs and pay the meter. Pro tip 2: You can phone in your order for curb side pick up. I will have to try it out next time. Food: I ordered the Bobbie. Moist turkey with cranberries and stuffing in a sandwich Caveat: Real turkey meat so watch out for the small pieces of bone. Here is my sandwich: - beverly-hills?select=ZD9kQh3apdav– yaz4Tdw7w#KXkK-BNHoNhY_mweJwcKmQ Well, I took one bite and then another. By the time, I looked down to take a picture. Half was already in my tummy. They have an outdoor patio/seating area. Or sit on a bar stool inside and watch TV. I watched a bit of NBA while waiting several minutes for my sandwich. Service: The lady at the counter was friendly. Her recommendation was the Bobbie. I asked for half to dine in and half wrapped to go. I totally understand«its closing time and I want to go home mindset.» Pro-tip 3: They have a frequent buyer’s card program. So, if you work in the area, don’t forget to get one. Overall, great sandwich that reminds me of Thanksgiving. Great food that won’t break the piggy bank.
