Love the food and the atmosphere here. I’ve eaten here twice and enjoyed it very much. The salads are simple yet so flavorful. The best ingredients and the freshest produce. I’ve also had the deviled eggs, olives, and I think popcorn. I’ve been here for lunch and happy hour/dinner. Excellent service. A much more casual menu and vibe than Bouchon. Worth dining!!!

This is my favorite happy hour/casual drink spot in Beverly Hills. The patio & its view of the park area is beautiful, the wines & Moscow Mules are great, public parking in the nearby structure– everything makes it ideal. I love going here with girlfriends.

People confuse Bar Bouchon with Bouchon upstairs. Bar Bouchon is downstairs by the park. Has a very light menu and great wine selection. If you want a delicious light lunch or dinner with great service and people watching this is the place. Get the quiche, it is a melt in your mouth creamy slice of heaven. Roody has waited on my several times and regardless of how busy it is, he takes his time with each customer offering suggestions, wine paring and always with smile and humor.

This is the first happy hour I’ve been to in the Beverly Hills area! The drinks were good, a bit strong for my early evening pallette, but the snacks were delicious: the truffle popcorn as well as the hot dog. The best part was the view and the seating outside, especially on that beautiful day!

I had the grilled cheese & tomato soup with a few glasses of the Jolie Rose, very delicious! A celebrity sighting as well ;)

I popped in here on a weekday afternoon and I sure am glad that I did. The bar wasn’t too busy, but busy enough that it provided a great atmosphere. The waitress had a great personality, and I really enjoyed my time there(I sat at the bar). It was happy hour, and I had a couple of glasses of fantastic wine. I had heard the desserts here were fantastic, so I opted for the chocolate brownie. This turned out to be the best life decision I made that day! Highly recommended.

Food was ok — overpriced. Service was terrible. Manager ignored us a few times and the server had a major attitude problem. Long wait for the food and there was a dog who kept barking, yet the staff did not bother to advise that others were being disrupted by the fact that a woman with a rowdy dog wanted to eat in a restaurant… absurd.

I’ve been here twice and both times I sat outside. The service is always friendly and accomodating. I havent’ tried everything on the menu — only having drinks and their popcorn with truffle oil. You must order this appertizer! Combines my love of popcorn and the very expensive truffle oil. Do it!

The staff is amazing. Food is mind blowing. You should check it out for sure. Casual in a upscale kind of way. Come in for happy hour 4 – 7 pm weekdays and lunch is good every day! French dip is my favorite thing on the menu followed by the kale chicken salad. Specials change all the time so you can try something new. Customers are friendly and you will always feel welcome.

Came here for happy hour so I didn’t try their entrées, but the appetizers generally were good. Popcorn was surprisingly pleasant. The service on the other hand could take some improvements. Metered parking on street or public parking right next by with 2 free hours.

We accidentally sat here thinking it was Bouchon Bistro during dinner time. They only had brunch and lunch items on the menu. Service was great and our waiter was really nice and attentive. He offered us some bread and butter. The bread was simple, yet unique and amazing. As for parking, you have to pay after 6PM but before that time, it is free 2 hours. We stopped by the bakery afterwards and got a Vanilla Latte. Not bad! Ambiance is nice and safe, although there was a guy that asked us for some change halfway across our meal. Quiche Lorraine — A slice of quiche with a side salad. I thought it was pretty watery for a quiche. All the ham was near the crust so I only got egg in the beginning. The crust was really nice and flaky though. Chicken Salad — A simple salad, nothing too crazy. You’ll feel SO healthy after eating this. and then you’ll be hungry like three hours later — at least that’s how my boyfriend felt. Tomato Soup — Simple and served in a bowl, but for $ 7 I would expect a bit more wow.

Disclaimer: having eaten previously at Bouchon Bistro, I may have had heightened expectations, however the bistro only serves a brunch menu on Saturday and we were looking for more salads and sandwiches. Overall the food was exceptional we had(between my mother, sister and I): The chicken salad: a simple grilled breast over a lightly dressed bed of kale. Simple but by-far my favorite The steak salad: full of beautiful flavor combinations of blue cheese, cherries, walnuts and beautifully tender, medium rare steak. My only qualm was that their could have been more watercress/greens The quiche: came with a lightly dresses side of greens and the quiche itself featured a beautiful combination of mushrooms and a fluffy egg custard It was a fairly hot day on the patio yesterday and we were drinking out water as fast as our cocktails so it would have been nice if the water service had been a little more prompt. I also thought it was funny/interesting that the cocktails($ 14) were served in the same small-ish glasses as the water? but overall a great lunch!

A quant little, in essence, hole-in-the-wall bar, perfect for after work cocktails and a light bite to eat. Tables fill up outside around 5pm. The wait staff are responsive and on the whole attentive.

Gorgeous view of the courtyard. Yummy salmon salad with red quinoa and compressed cucumbers. I’m not sure what that means but I must have paid for the compression because it was pretty expensive($ 24). The bread broke my jaw, but as a caveat I have bad TMJs. I used the bread as a vessel for the salty, soft butter, will pay for it later with jaw pain. Too far to drive here but if I happen to be in the area, would come back to try the mussels and desserts.

Tiny. Sooo French. Feels like a teeny tiny place in Paris. It is a treat for a bite and a drink + coffee. It is tucked in at the end of(and opens on to) the Bouchon sidewalk café that faces the inside gardens at the Montage Hotel. Very European, cozy chic feeling. Again, it is truly tiny, but it feels that it is the way it should be.

Great food and drinks, but what really earns Bouchon five stars is their staff. Twice now we came for drinks and found the bar full, and each time the staff has been so accommodating — finding a table quickly or allowing us to have drinks only at a table typically reserved for full dining patrons. Everyone is pleasant, courteous, and attentive, and you won’t find the attitude that sometimes pervades Beverly Hills’ top tier restaurants. Sit outside if you can. They have a great wine selection, but Bouchon’s old fashioned is a bit of a signature, and you won’t be disappointed.

Let’s get some perspective on this place. Thomas Keller, since his name is the draw. We’ve all loved that the greatest living French chef is American and cut his teeth as a gangly teen on the brunch shift of the Palm Beach marina his mother managed, or so the story goes. I’ve eaten at Per Se, and I have to say it wasn’t worth the money, and I won’t go into detail why, but I will say I’m glad I did it. My bucket list is full of dumb things like visit every continent and eat a meal for two that costs as much as a studio in Brighton Beach versus jump out of an airplane or survival camp. I’m from Appalachia, so hunger and danger are things from which to escape, thank you. If there’s one thing I do know, it’s a good hot dog. I was tickled to no end to discover that I could have a $ 7 hot dog on a fresh baked pretzel bun with real French mustard and a side of potato chips in Beverly Hills, while a happy hour hot dog at the Vanderbilt in Brooklyn is $ 10. I felt like I had moved up in the world to where money supposedly doesn’t matter but the rich pay less for things we take for granted like hot dogs and coffee, things that get more expensive every day. The first hot dog I had at Bar Bouchon was perfection! So much so that my husband surprised me by driving 30 minutes in rush hour traffic to pick me up from work and treat me to another on Memorial Day. The experience the second time was 180 degrees from the first. Beverly Hills will buy you some charm, I’ll say that. The servers did not have to be flagged down to ask why our table was still empty 20 minutes after we finished our first round. There were three trips to tell us they did not have Tito’s vodka or Stolichnaya or Grey Goose that day. We switched to gin and got our usual Beefeater. Then where was the hotdog? Another server appeared and LIEDTOOURFACES and said they were holding the hotdog until our martinis came, to which I said, «No more yankie my wankie. The Donger need food!» This is how I knew they made it up, too. They brought me an extra long double dong dog, and it was nowhere near as good as the first. I was mildly insulted that they felt my silence could be bought for a wiener. They’re like, «Stuff it in your mouth.» Since Thomas Keller started making hollandaise sauce until he perfected it so long ago, you would expect he could make consistently good hot dogs. If you can’t make a hot dog, you should not be working in a Thomas Keller restaurant, because I know it wasn’t him personally making my food. I’m gonna have to say, though, he needs to tighten the reins on his restaurants. There’s some loose shit going on(literally, like wash your hands in the kitchen!) even at the mothership.

I came here for dineLA happy hour week with my three girl friends. I had no idea that it had to be at the bar, so I made reservations at Bouchon Bistro only to have to wait all over again. Their service is superb though and they put us on a waiting list for the bar. We were able to hang out downstairs in the courtyard until they sent us a text that our table was ready, how wonderful. I love places that don’t waste your time. Right after we ordered, they brought out their signature bread and butter for us –talk about great service! And I love when the butter is soft, so it makes my life so much easier. The servers were always making sure we were good but didn’t come often enough where it was interrupting our conversations. They’re also quite handsome here, but we’re in Beverly Hills afterall. We all ordered the steak and frites with wine($ 20). Honestly, the price was already amazing. Even on their regular menu, it’s $ 37. And I have to say, it’s worth it. The steak was a perfect medium red. The meat slid right off my knife with how juicy and tender it was. The grilled shallots and garlic butter truly enhanced the steak as if it needed any more flavor. Of course there’s the fries too, which are so crispy and tasty. And I’m always a sucker for good ketchup as I’m not a fan of ketchup, so they win here. I love this place from the food to the service. The additional gorgeous décor and view doesn’t hurt either. It’s a perfect date night location.
