Just what we needed on our way home from the beach. Despite Unilocal saying it was closed we drove by and it was open, stocked with delicious treats (cinnamon twists, maple bacon donuts, savory pastries) and fresh coffee. Clean and friendly service made this a road trip win.

Absolutely wonderful gem of a bakery on Hwy 24 in downtown Beulaville. Stop by regularly on our way to Emerald Isle beach. My husband loves the peanut maple glazed and bacon maple glazed donuts. I’m very fond of the cherry turnovers. We usually pick up a loaf of raisin or sourdough bread to take with us for the week. Warm out of the oven! The owner is usually there and is really friendly. Such a nice new business!
