Stopped in today. A delightful, 1960’s style atmosphere with excellent sandwiches, an amazing list of coffees and shakes, and an owner/chef, Jan, who is an upbeat, friendly and wonderful hostess. A few locals complete the ambiance of this throw back to the time of Peace and Love. If you find yourself in(or near) Beulah, Colorado, do yourself a favor… drop in!

Nice friendly country type restaurant. Food was good– we had toasted turkey sandwiches and split a brownie with ice cream for dessert. We had our dog so ate at an outside table. My wife paid inside and when she gave me the change I realized that we had been undercharged. When the owner brought our food I told her that she had given us too much change– she checked and said«yep, you’re right I only charged you for one sandwich and not two– oh well, I’m bad and guess you got a really good deal!!» I told her we definitely wanted to pay the entire bill which she finally accepted. We left a good tip– love the attitude and personal attention given by the owner/operator.

This place is rad! We stopped for lunch before hiking at the mountain park. Jan was friendly and cool. I got a cup of the chicken soup and parmesan bread(delicious and bread was toasted just right) and the rest of the crew got a burrito, and two cinnamon rolls(raisin and plain, not dry at all). I got a chai shake(good chai) and the others got a vanilla shake. Jan mixed up one of of the drinks but she got the right one in the end and even put it on the house. Awesome place in Beulah and a really unique café(in the most positive sense). We’ll be back.

Good Lord, this is the greatest place on earth. Jan is the best, and her drinks(cold and hot) will kick your teeth in. The food is also made by Jan, and consists of a few sandwiches and a wonderful french bread pizza. Local flavor is the rule: plan to stay awhile and chill. Check out the restrooms! Love it!

I had a toasted hazelnut milkshake. It was flippin’ delicious! The food menu looked good. I wish I brought my appetite. The owner is very friendly. She gave us a lot of helpful info about hiking in the area. The atmosphere is cozy. I’m pretty sure I’ll stop by every time I find myself is Beulah.
