I wish I never waited so long to try this place. I would recommend and they also have very reasonable priced food that tastes amazing. I got the Smoked Turkey Pomodoro w/rice and my dad got the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap w/fries. I really like how they separate the sides in different dishes vs putting everything on one plate. The rice was very good and had the right amount of kick without being too spicy and the fries were so good. They had that perfect crunch without being greasy or tasting like they were frozen fries most places use. I will definitely come here more often to try other things on their menu!

Went to eat after balls games. They closed in 20 min and told us we could only order things that are fast to make. I have never experience that. Usually places want your business. We have always had good good but always very unfriendly.

Heard about this place for a while and was surprised it’s been here for 6 yrs! Been to the Bettendorf and Davenport location. The Mediterranean veggie pita came with yummy flafel and Mediterranean salad with tahini sauce plopped on top. Fries are incredible. Classic hummus and roasted red pepper hummus and pita very tasty. Hubby had the hummus and avocado wrap and loved it.

In my opinion, there isn’t a lot of good Mediterranean food in the QCA. I’ve been to Olive Tree a few times and had a few different things but all falafel based. The falafel is great, no question. I’ve tried the bowl and the wrap and both were very good. I also was at an even that was a buffet and got to try several things, all of which were very good. My husband tried a gyro which he enjoyed with the only«complaint» that the pita was so fresh that it fell apart when he tried to eat it. Not a horrible problem to have but still an issue. The prices are all reasonable and they are typically pretty fast at making the food. I’ll definitely be returning!

This place is amazing. The owner is really nice and the food never disappoints. We catered a party from here and the guests loved the food! I highly recommend the olive tree

Food was amazing! Went with my family and we shared everything and none of us disliked anything. It seems locally owned and not many people were there when we were but the food and service was excellent. Please help support great local restaurants!

I can’t believe it took 6 years of Olive Tree to be open for us to find it. Everything was great. I ate the Gyro wrap all was good but I forgot to tell them no olives. Not your typical cheap gyro. This had rice lettuce and feta. Delicious. My wife ate the Pita without Borders and it was fantastic. No leftovers! Hummus and falafel were good too. We will be regulars.

Good food, atmosphere good for café. I wouldn’t say it’s the bomb. But worth the money. The chicken panini had good flavor, wish they didn’t use lunch meat. But this is purely preference. Staff was friendly, and was obvious to go up to the menu board to order. The gyro wrap was good. Think we would try it again.

My favorite, the best hummus! I always order tabouli with grilled salmon with a size of hummus! They now have a second place on locust street.

Nice selection of Mediterranean favorites including gyros, falafel, and kabobs. Counter sevice for ordering — but don’t let this unassuming place pass you by– best Mediterranean food in the Quad!

Great food. Really excited to find an awesome option for Mediterranean food in the Quad cities and on Locust for that matter. First time I went old habits forced me to go with the Gyro. But the falafel and chicken bowls are absolutely a must have.

OMG yum. Love the falafel, hummus, fresh salads, amazing iced tea. If you ask me it’s one of the top 3 places to eat in Bettendorf. Oh and the tomato basil soup is delicious.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing. My first time going, My wife and I were checking restaurants to cater our wedding, I believe I had the butternut squash pasta, I don’t recall what she had. We both loved it, so much so that we had Olive Tree cater our wedding. At the wedding, the guests RAVED about the food. I have a lot of vegan and vegetarian friends and they were all thrilled about the quality of the food. The owner is a really nice guy. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant.

Didn’t expect much when I walked into this little, unassuming café in a strip mall, but wow! Best gyro meat I’ve ever had, and the couscous rivals anything in Morocco! Try the Sampler Platter, with gyro, salad, hummus & pita bread and grape leaves. SERIOUSLY don’t overlook the couscous! Lost one star because their«tzaziki» is crap. It’s basically sour cream, not yoghurt. But everything else makes up for it ;)

Amazing value. Excellent Mediterranean food, at excellent prices. Nice selection of Greek and med standards, and about 10 bucks a head is a value that can’t be beet. Dining is very informal, and may not fit«date night» standards. But the food and value will soon become a go-to favorite when meeting with friends.

Really enjoyed my Gyro and side salad. Very generous portion and tasty. Pleasant service. Not your typical Greek fast food restaurant.

Tried this based on some good reviews and found the exact opposite. Poor, slow service and mediocre food. Nothing seemed fresh. After we had ordered and waited 10 minutes our server informed us that part of our order(rice) would be another 20 minutes. The only other person working spent more time crying on the phone about how someone quit than making out order. I understand that being short-staffed is problematic, but alerting us up front about limitations and apologizing for the wait when delivering our food would have gone a long way.

Very reasonable prices, the food is really good and everything is very fresh. The presentation of the food looks very nice too. If nothing else, you at least have to get the hummus.

My first time at this restaurant. Not having been there before, we were confused as to the process, not knowing whether or not there was table service, or whether or not to seat ourselves. We were visibly hesitant, and the wait staff delivering food to a table did their best to ignore us and avoid eye contact, despite our obvious confusion. When we asserted ourselves for some guidance, the wait staff indifferently told us we needed to figure out our own seating arrangement. We sat. She passed by us again, and told us we’d better go to the counter if we wanted food. Okie dokie. Hubby went up to the front to ask if there were menus, as we were reluctant to leave our table since it was the only open table at the time. The wait staff up there eventually noticed him and gave him some menus he could take back to the table. Our food took an hour to arrive. Nothing we ordered could possibly explain such an absurd wait time… especially in a café-environment where you order at the counter and they deliver it when it’s ready. I wondered if it was because we arrived on an unusually busy day, but as I’m looking at other reviews, I’m realizing it’s the norm. Next time I should read the reviews first, so stuff like this wouldn’t surprise me as much when it happened. The restaurant was filled as tightly as possible with tables. Personally, I think they should’ve scaled back the quantity of tables and perhaps they would not have been taking up to an hour per table just to serve them. My next thought: Start offering table service. Then the patrons wouldn’t assume that it was a café environment and might be less annoyed by the slow food delivery. Additionally, maybe the wait staff would actually care since they’d be working for tips. When patrons left, the wait staff would clean the tables… sort of. Really not that clean, but usable… And as for the chairs, dust off the rice yourself unless you want rice on your pant bottoms. Also make sure you wear decent shoes, but not the type you mind getting rice stuck to the bottom of them. If you wear flip-flops, you may leave with rice on your toes… but not your own rice. There was rice all over the floor(in the walkways, under the tables, everywhere) and there was no effort to clean it up. I’m pretty sure they wait until the end of the day to bother cleaning up the rice. So anyway… the only reason this place still gets some stars is that my food tasted good. But it did need salt. But to that note, my husband told me that his chicken was charred and dry. He said he likes it that way. Pretty sure he’s the only person on the planet who would think that, but if you’re like him, make sure you order the chicken kebabs. Otherwise, steer clear. He was really disappointed the food did not come with any bread. It screamed for bread… ANYKIND of bread… a pita… a roll, a slice of bread… a mismatched tortilla? He commented that for all the places he’d had similar food it had never been without some bread… Anyway… my best advice: Order ahead… Like maybe an hour before you want your food to be ready. Then take it to go.

The expansive menu, including appetizers, salads, soups, pitas, paninis, pastas, pizzas, Greek-inspired entrees and desserts, was so thorough it was almost overwhelming! I appreciated the options, though, and thoroughly enjoyed my «pick two» choice with Tomato Basil Soup and the Classic Mix Salad, which came with warm pita slices. The highlight of our meal was the hummus appetizer, which we ordered with the red pepper, onion and feta topping. Yum! The service was acceptable, although the dirty dish container(you clear your own items) was overflowing nearly to the point of spilling. I guess it’s a sign that they were receiving a good amount of business? The Quad-Cities could use more locally run restaurants that serve nutritious, global cuisine! I’d be very happy to return to try more options(especially when the alternative might be a chain down the road).
