Sat down to have lunch. Ordered large pie half meatball and 2 orders of mozzarella sticks. Very good food but the bill was $ 48.00. Very over priced. $ 17.00 for 10 mozzarella sticks? I’ll never go back again.

«When good restaurants go bad!!!» I have lived in Bethpage for 20 years and have frequented this restaurant. The portions were so substantial, my husband and I were always able to share the meal and enjoy it. Tonight I ordered Chicken Parm and a salad. Bill came to $ 28.53 — $ 17 for the Chicken and $ 9 and change for the salad. My husband picked up the order and when I opened it I was shocked. The container held 2 chicken cutlets each slightly larger than a hockey puck. It was not even enough for one adult. I called and spoke to Pat, the owner, who proceeded to tell me that the chicken cutlets were not smaller — it was just that they were using larger containers so the order appears smaller. It made him sound rather pathetic and unable to explain the situation. Even the italian bread was skimpy. Then came the famous line«No one complains about the portion size.» Oddly enough, when my husband arrived home and before I even opened the order, he mentioned that the restaurant was empty. Not totally unexpected. To top it off, my husband said that food was not as good as it used to be.

I just came from lunch here with my grandma, and family. We ordered my two year old son a kids meal, because Sunday’s are advertised as children eat free. I ordered a penne with meatballs kids meal for my son, and the three of us ordered entrees. When the bill came we were charged almost 15 dollars for this«free» kids meal! I spoke to the waitress who informed me I had not requested the kids meal.(I had and my son is two, clearly he does not require an adult entrée). I asked to speak to the manager and she also argued with me and stayed I should have known the portion was too large for a kids meal.(I had never gone here before, how was I to know it was not simply generous portions? Also this should not be my responsibility)! She was very rude but finally agreed to change the bill. After all that, the bill arrives with a 7 dollar charge for a «free» kids meal. I have never been treated this way at any establishment, and I eat out regularly. I would never recommend this place, especially because the food is nothing to write home about and very pricey for extremely typical Italian food!

I went here today to get a slice of pizza. I asked the guy in the front if a slice was baked ziti and he told me yes so I got a slice. After going to the table and cutting a piece off I realize that it looks like it was a penne ala vodka piece.(which I have an allergy to) thinking that they would do the right thing I bring the piece up and asked(who I believe was a manager) if it was penne ala vodka he turns around with attitude and says yea what’s wrong with it. I said I can’t eat this I thought it was baked ziti like they told me … He asked why I brought it up bc «he can’t do anything about it». I brushed that off and asked for another type … Thinking he would do the right thing … Guess I was wrong he charged me full price and didn’t even act like he was sorry about the mistake. Horrible business. If you want friendly service I def wouldn’t advise going here. Biggest waste of money

This is officially our good luck restaurant. When my pregnant wife was 6 days past due with our daughter, we ate here and BOOM, water broke right after eating. 3 years later, we were desperate to try anything after our son was now 6 days past due and we ate here again and BOOM, water broke right after eating.

Been coming here for quite a while from out of the area. Our fave place for specialty pizza. Love the veggie, Mexican and artichoke pies.

The staff and service were nice but the pasta was pretty flavorless. I’ve had better pasta in Bethpage. Not hugely impressed.

Papa Dill’s is ill! Was tipped off to this place by friends who went to Bethpage High School. Came yesterday for lunch. I was impressed by how clean and nice the place looks; the bathroom was on point too. They had a good amount of seating, which is great; our party of 9 was chilling. Selection was really good; they had a bunch of stuff there — almost couldn’t decide what to get. I ended up getting a pepperoni and sausage Sicilian slice, a bottle of pepsi, and later went back to try a regular slice. My meaty Sicilian slice was banginggg; the cheese was nice and thick, sauce was good, and the meat was tasty and filling. I was impressed so i got another regular slice to see how that was. It was also great! Nice and hot from the oven and crispy. I like how Papa Dill’s cheese is hot and thick. Also, i gotta applaud the service here; the guy who takes your order adds entertainment value with his quick hands and heavy accent. He was knowledgeable about the slices. The girl at the register was friendly. I saw them even bring out slices to people at the tables, which is awesome. Prices were pretty standard; my pepsi and meaty sicilian was about $ 6.75 and the regular slice was about $ 2.70. Keep doing your thing Papa Dill’s; i should be back to try out more slices.

Update: because of how kind and professional my response was from Pasquale I want to give it another try. Maybe was a bad day I came. It means a lot to know the business cares about their customers so much they are willing to fix what they weren’t pleased about.

The food at this restaurant is pretty good tons of good choices. But certain staff members when getting take out can make you feel rushed or not give you best service. I would like to have time to sprinkle some parm cheese and garlic on my slice Can I???

I am always torn about my favorite pizza in Bethpage. I constantly go back and forth between Three Brothers and Pappardelle’s. Pappardelle’s always has a better selection of more interesting specialty slices, and everyone who works there is nicer than those at Three Brothers. Pappardelle’s restaurant section is, while much smaller, much nicer than Three Brothers. The prices are comparable, but the ambience at Pappardelle’s is much better. I guess that decides it. Pappardelle’s is better. Also, they’re willing to deliver to my house in Plainview, so there’s that.

They have excellent specialty pies. I’ve tried some type of barbecue chicken slice that was very good. Meat slice is really good, which is basically a ham, pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella cheese stuffed concoction that I think is their best item. Chicken roll was pretty boring and not a lot of flavor. Regular slice is better than average. My biggest complaint though is I feel is their overpriced. I would still return though.

Went there yesterday with my brother. We ordered a pizza and ice-cream desserts. The food was good, but not some special. The staff were friendly and tried to do they best to satisfied customers.

Pappardelles is like a Bethpage institution. I’ve been coming here for as long as I remember. Every Friday night this place is buzzing, practically the whole town is here! That being said, it’s pizza. It’s hard to mess up pizza. It’s nothing fancy, but there is a sit-down side with waitress service that’s pretty good. Most of the pizza is average, but every now and then they’ll have something new(like today I had pan pizza with salami and fresh mozzarella, yum!) All in all, it’s a pretty good place.

Love this place! As a gluten free customer, I am always on the look-out for good food that does not cost an arm and a leg! This is the place. Never had anything I did not like. Waitresses are always very friendly. There are different specials during the week, which is nice. There is a pasta night, chicken night, etc. There is a one man keyboard player there on the weekends, not a fan of that. He was fine, but customers were allowed to sing. The 2 times I was there on the weekends, young children were allowed to join in, it was not appealing to listen to. Definitely spoiled my meal. So I only go there during the week now.

If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would. The food was good. The service, not that great. Went out on a business lunch with coworkers.

Stopped in to try lunch. Counter guy was friendly and offered me some options. Food was pretty good, your basic. As I walked to the bathroom however an older woman who I presumed was the owner(owners mother?) just gave me a funny look – hey I already paid I’m not just here to use the ladies room was my gut thought. But that won’t stop me from coming back.

I’m always on the search for coal or brick oven pizza. Figured I would try this place. Pleasantly surprised with the number of pizza options. Pinwheels, knots and rolls look awesome. Super clean inside and good solid pizza! Definately worth a visit if your in Bethpage.
