One Eye Jacks

Have nothing bad to say about this place. Want to have a good time, some good food and great drinks got to come down to One Eye Jacks! More then a bar this place is. The owners and staff treat you more then customers, treat you like family here. Nowhere else I’d like to go with a bunch of my friends then one eye jacks. Great prices on drinks. 2 – 5 tall boys PBR! Where can you go wrong with that. Always having a great time when you go there.

You need to try a FUN JOEY! This bar has a wide variety of beer, mixed drinks and wine. Ladies drink free on Thursdays from 9pm-​12am! During Mets and Yankee games, Miller Drafts are $ 3!!! From beer towers to dry ice drinks, this bar has it all. On top of all of that, there is a Live DJ on the weekends that plays mash-​ups from EDM, Hip-​Hop and Country. Sometimes the bar is crowed on the weekends, but that does not stop the fun this place has to offer! Check it out today!!!

I’m not going to give this place a one-​star review because that would not be fair to the people who own and run this place, but I was not impressed by One Eye Jacks. It was small and cramped and filled with Dudebros. It felt to me like the college bar that caters mainly to underage drinkers (whether or not that’s true I don’t know). It was all thumping music (The DJ that night was creating painful mash-​ups) and a mass of people all shoved together. Call me a party pooper, I don’t care. Maybe my mistake was offering to be the designated driver, because everyone I came with (Read: smashed before heading there) was having a great time. Things like not having any room to yourself or ear-​drum-​shattering music don’t phase most people (myself included) after a few drinks.
The moral of the story is: Don’t come to One Eye Jacks sober, and it’ll be really fun.
P. S.: According to my friends there were a lot of hot girls there. Unconfirmed.

Impressed by how the entire bar was redone! This is NOW certainly a dive that a lady can enjoy a 7 & 7! Well done One Eye Jacks! Looking forward the dart board & league coming in a few weeks!

Im not going to say anything that this place isnt, but if you are waiting for a table next door at Popei’s, it’s worth walking in here to grab a drink.
The place is almost completely redone inside, and me, my sister, and her husband were rather surprised with it. We spoke to the owner, or one of the owners, not sure if it’s just him or if he has partners, seemed like a nice guy. Told us about what they redid inside, how quickly they did it, (6 days, i’ll give it to em for getting it done so quickly), etc etc.
Look, would I go here for the night and get hammered, probably not. I almost hate to say that considering how nice the guy behind the bar (owner) was, but the next time i’m waiting for a table next door, i’ll gladly grab a drink, or two, or maybe a $ 10 bucket of shots…
