Dr. Wiesner’s dentistry served me well for a long time, so much so that when I moved to NYC, I decided to keep going to him and drive 2 hours in to see him…
So why 2 stars and what’s my beef?
Here’s the story:
I was 20 minutes late due to traffic. I was informed by his secretary that he would not see me for the 2 fillings (a 2 hour appointment) I had been scheduled for. She said, «It has already been discussed.» And that was that.
Now, I understand schedules, and I could see that part of my appointment had been lost. But the whole appointment? They did not not offer to do even one of the cavity fillings if they didn’t have time for both… nothing. She offered another day as though I lived 10 minutes away though they knew I was coming from 2 hours away. I was shocked and dismayed… not just at what happened, but how it happened… With little or no regard.
My recommendation is that if you are letter perfect with your schedule and nothing ever goes wrong, he’s a fine dentist with a less than friendly secretary. If you run a tight schedule like I do, steer clear. They don’t care about you.
