Should be named The Portal Gaming because that’s the main focus here. They carry a spattering of new release comics. You probably have more back issues on your dresser than they have here. For a gaming place I guess it’s ok but since that’s not my thing I don’t really know.

Helpful staff. Decent selection of RPGs, minis(Warhammer & Warmachine mostly), comics, Magic & board games. Great space in the back to play some tabletop games of your own. Welcoming crowd during MTG pre-releases. We shop here for all our geeky hobby needs. Ask about frequent buyers program to earn points toward discounts.

A small store, but with a fairly decent selection of comics, tabletop and RPGs. The TCG games are limited(at this time, mostly just Magic and My Little Pony). Staff is nice, knowledgeable and friendly. They run small events, and are really well organized despite their size. Small gaming shop, but it’s pretty solid for what it is.

Almost didn’t make the stop here due to a long trip we were on. If we had missed this store it would have been a mistake. Clean, well lit, and organized store. They mostly deal with gaming, but carries comic books due to Dreamscape Comics limiting operations(Dreamscape has since closed). Portal carries mostly recent«pull list» comics with a fair selection of graphic novels. In subsequent visits they have carried less back issues. Portal had a large selection of gaming materials including Magic cards, Dungeons & Dragons, and Warhammer materials. Some informal Magic play was going on in the back of the store while we were there and they have a dedicated gaming room in the back. They carry a comprehensive selection of HeroClix, which made me very happy. Portal has started carrying some toys including Pop Vinyls. One minor issue with the location is they only have street parking. Staff was pleasant to chat with and this store is absolutely worth a stop.

I was not treated great when I walked in. They looked me up and down like I was lost, which I was not, I followed my GPS to the store. They told me the store opened in another minute and that I should wait outside. I asked for Trillium #1 and their jaws dropped that I actually knew 1 comic. I was given what I feel is a standard line«we just sold the last copy». I will never go back and did not appreciate the way I was treated.

Very knowledgeable staff, large miniature, RPG, and Magic the Gathering selection. Manager will demo board games for you, growing comic selection. Clean store with lots of events. Nicest gaming store in the area.

Decent Miniature and RPG selection, mediocre board game stock. If you are a miniature gamer(al la games workshop) there are plenty of tables to play and they run games on the weekend. They host D&D as well, first 2 Sat of the month and every Wed night. The service is typical game store… which is to say not very good. However, overall if you are looking to play or shop I would recommend having a look.
