Mod Day Spa

Had an amazing gel manicure by Susan! Super clean!!! Many color options for both gel and regular manicures. I am not from the area, but will definitely be back the next time I am in town!

Fair is fair… this is a good nail place, and the only one I have found that I like in the Lehigh Valley. (I like to go to Gomo’s in Philly, but that is not really practical from Bethlehem…) You get a good manicure or pedicure, the staff is competent and friendly, the place is clean and attractive. I miss the massage you get at places like Gomo’s…but Mod is really what you want if you don’t want surly staff and ripped up cuticles — which is what you get almost anywhere else in the valley. (I hesitate to post this because if this place is discovered, I will never get in… Oh well. Sigh… Fair is fair.)

I read the reviews before coming in today.
It was just as nice as they say! It was quiet but peaceful quiet.
I enjoyed my pedicure so decided to add a full set, they have a nail combination specials check them out.
I will be definitely be back, it was very clean inside it made me feel comfortable.

First time at this spa. The outside of the building is quite nondescript belying the beauty inside. The spa is gorgeous! They have a ton of services listed on their brochure, everything from pedicures, manicures, to haircuts, to massages, and more. Prices seemed fairly reasonable. I was a walk-​in for a pedicure. They use Zoya polishes and have a large selection of colors. The pedicure chair was large and very comfy with a massager in it. As for the pedicure itself, it was an okay experience. The woman working on my feet scrubbed too much, they we’re a little raw, and the gel she put on next stung because of it. I had to have her wash the gel off because it burned too much. I felt it was a bit lacking in the pampering aspects of the pedicure for the price ($ 30). The massage with cream part was almost nonexistent. But maybe they save all that for their «spa pedicure» which is $ 45. Overall, I was a bit disappointed by the service, but my toes look good. Although my feet are still a little tender!

It’s hard to know what a gem this place is based on the outside — it’s a non-​descript white building and you’re really not sure what to expect when you pull up. But walk inside and you’ll see a clean and modern salon and spa with the latest and greatest! The place is so relaxing; there’s an area in the front where you can relax on one of the comfortable couches if you’re waiting for someone else. There’s also a large room where manicures are done and a separate area for pedicures (down a few stairs) in addition to a whole separate section where all spa services are completed (facials, massages, etc).
I was there to get a facial and a massage and both were fabulous. Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of the women who worked with me but both were great. I fell asleep during my facial it was so relaxing and my skin felt like a baby when we were done. Then for the my massage, it was clear that I’ve been abusing my body with all of the hunched over sitting I do at work and the heavy carrying of documents, books and laptop for work. I was all out of alignment but the masseuse was incredibly knowledgable at what to do about some of my trouble spots (that I didn’t realize I had until the massage started!). One of my legs was actually shorter than the other given how kinked my back has been and after she worked some of those issues out, I went for a run the next day and didn’t have the same aches and pains I’ve been dealing with for weeks. She also taught me some good stretches which I’ve since used to keep things in tact. I know now that I really need to get to yoga and get in to see a sports massage therapist every month or so. I came in from out of town for this visit but would go back in a heartbeat if I lived closer.
The staff were very friendly and eager to please. I think maybe the owners are there a lot of the time — I think they were there the day I went. They asked me immediately if I wanted something to drink and were also good about not minding me sitting next to my friends to chat despite not having any nail services booked!

This place was very classy and very attentive, the person took care of me the entire time no interruptions or switching persons.

Got a pedicure here. Staff was friendly and professional. I would come back.
