Out of business. Pizza was good. For whatever reason whenever I visited, they never had a slice pie ready to go.

We went to Fratzola’s twice in Dec 2014. The first time we got there about an hour after they were supposed to be open and there was no one there. We got back in our car trying to decide where to go when someone arrived to open up. There was also a waitress waiting to get in. We got the Old Forge style pizza an d while it wasn’t the best pizza we had, we did enjoy it but the service was horrible… had to ask for coffee numerous times and she never came back to check on us unless we caught her attention. The second time we went and got pizza again… it was done but not very hot at all so we were disappointed, however, our server Sandy was great. Not sure if we will be going back as we don’t like hit or miss places.

Great Old Forge Style pizza(I haven’t tried their regular round pie) and the wings were cooked perfectly(sauce was a bit sweet for my taste).

This is the best pizza place I’ve found so far in the lehigh valley. Originally being from Scranton none of the pizza in the valley compared to pizza from back home until I found this place and their Old Forge Style pizza. A lot of there other menu items look great too, but the pizza is so good I can bring myself to order anything else when I go here.

Old forge pizza is good… but this place is a disaster. After hour forty minute wait for delivery and 10 unanswered phone calls they finally answered and sai«the cook did not make the order, next time pizza is free». When I asked how to redeem this free pizza I was told«Ill remember you». Total unprofessional BS. Super disappointed

The beginning of this snowstorm started with a crockpot full of ribs… except I left them in too long and they were gross. My husband ran out and got a pie of their famous old forge pizza. AMAZING!!! the staff was very nice and the food tasted great.

YUM! Had an awesome meal at Fratzola’s last night. Scranton style pizza was perfectly delicious — really loved the crust. Not as thick as some pan pizzas but not too thin either… just right and perfect blend of crispy and chewy. Really done well. Pasta alfredo was cooked perfectly al dente, service was great, and it was very cozy in there too. First time visit and we’ll be back!

This place has become a bit of a guilty pleasure, but only because I have to sneak here when my girlfriend isn’t around. Im a huge old forge style pizza fan but its not to everybody’s taste. It’s great when you’re looking for something a little different than your ordinary Brooklyn pie.

My husband has some family from Old Forge & they actually had one of the original pizza shops there(they sold it years ago, but the new owners kept the name). So when I read in the Morning Call that there was a place to get Old Forge pizza nearby, we had to try it. And Fratzola’s did not disappoint us. We ordered some take out that my husband picked up on his way home from work. It tasted exactly the same as it does in Old Forge… amazing! The next week we took the kids in for dinner. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a strip mall deter you, the inside is warm & cozy, the staff is friendly & so very welcoming, and the food is delicious.(And it’s byob, a definite plus in my book). This is a family-run business done well, and I’ve been telling everyone I know how good it is. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

When I was a kid, my grandmother lived in Old Forge and when we’d visit we’d be treated to Revello’s Old Forge style pizza if we were lucky. There’s just something«different» about Old Forge Pizza(the tangier sauce, the American cheese taste, the fluffier crust) that always appealed to me. Long after my grandmother passed away, I’d still head up to Old Forge about once a year to get a few trays of Revello’s. Now, I only have to go to Fratzola’s! Their pizza is made from an actual Old Forge recipe(the owners are from that area) and it’s simply incredible. They do have«regular» circle pizza as well as a litany of Italian dishes. This is one of those spots that you need to check out. Even if it’s only one time, I strongly recommend giving Fratzola’s a try!

Great pizza made by a very nice family run business. I sat and had a very enjoyable conversation with them while waiting for my pie. Both times I have eaten here I got the square pan pizza. Now, if you are like me and do not like American cheese, you must ASK for mozzarella. Their«Old Forge» style pizza comes with American cheese on it. Many people love that recipe so I suggest you give it a try, but me, I don’t like American cheese on anything so, I just ask for mozzarella, and its perfect. Not too greasy, delicious crust(the kind you like to eat the ends, sorry dogs!) slightly sweet, tangy sauce, and the right amount of cheese. Please give this new local place a try, I’d love to see them succeed here in the Valley.
