I have only been here twice and have only tried two items on their menu — Tuna Pita(whole wheat) and Chicken Caesar Salad. The Tuna Pita was okay. It was large and filled me up pretty quickly. With my second visit, I opted for the Chicken Caesar Salad and was very happy with my choice. They also give you a pita to go with the Caesar salad. I think with future visits, this will be my item of choice. The people are generally nice. There is a decent-sized space for seating, and they do have a few tables outdoors if you desire to eat outside.

I think the menu is very interesting and the food overall is pretty good. The service is mediocre but is a bit over priced. I eat here a lot and think the Gyros are amazing.

This is for their customer service. I just got back from returning a pita as it was the wrong pita and missing hummus. When I went to return it, the lady at the counter, who claims to be the manager, gave me the biggest attitude. I have been going here over a year, since I work nearby, but after today, I won’t. This lady needs customer training lessons ASAP before things go wayyy down hill for this location.

For a place that is called perfect PITA, their pita was not all that impressive. Even my mom, who this would be her second time having a gyro, said the pita was not good. Our pita was not toasted, and not very soft. My mom and I each got a gyro, and everything else besides the pita was alright. The meat wasn’t too salty or anything, but I was disappointed about the state of our pitas. It was weird because the wrapping was hot, so it would almost seem like they toasted the gyro after wrapping it so the wrapping ended up being hot, but not the gyro. All in all, was just an ok place for lunch. Nothing amazing, but not too terrible either.

I came here while waiting for the Vamoose bus because the local Starbucks on this scorching hot day had HVAC issues. I got a gyro on wheat pita for $ 6.88(tax included.) The pita was nicely toasted and there was a good amount of meat stuffed under a layer of shredded lettuce and slices of fresh tomatoes. It comes with a side of tzatziki which I spread inside my pita. The tzatziki was very creamy but lacked the more garlic and flavor I’m accustomed to. Definitely will come back to try the hummus and some other pitas.

Sort of hidden off of East West highway so if you’re not paying attention then you will miss it. I work in Bethesda so any places that are in within walking distance is great however, don’t make a special trip(driving) for it either. Public parking is around the corner and it is metered. Plenty of tables /seats to dine in. Food is okay and inexpensive. And they usually have samples of pita bread with many different types of hummus and toppings.

They don’t take Amex – even though a section of their menu says they do. I will not return

Ranch dressing and provolone on a gyro? Perfectly awful. Perfect Pita was recommended by a coworker, and I will neither make the mistake of eating here nor listening to their recommendations again. One bonus star(barely) because their in-house hummus is reasonably tasty. But the food? Stay away.

Great sandwich place. And their hummus is awesome. My usual is the Hummus Veggie with Chicken. A huge portion of veggies and both hummus and chicken. Can’t get any better than that. It’s too big for one meal… I usually save some for later.

Bland food, boring hummus, and styrofoam taste to everything. Not sure what the other reviewers were eating but this place really had terrible food.

Perfect Pita is a good place. They do have a wide selection and their pita & hummus are really good, compared to some of the other places I’ve been to. However, I do believe that for approximately 7 dollars, they stuff it with more lettuce and tomato and not enough chicken(or other meat) that you choose. I had the chicken and veggie… and like other reviewers said it was good, but mine was more veggie than chicken… they did what Subway does… but subway charges 5 bucks!

Perfect Pita has become my standard for lunch in Bethesda. The food is good, pretty inexpensive, and ready quickly. If I’m not sure what I want I always seem to end up there, and have never been disappointed after 9 months of working nearby. Their menu is wide enough to have something for almost everyone’s tastes, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. For those not a fan of Mediterranean entrees(I’m still not a bug hummus fan, although my wife loves it) there are plenty of options, from steak and cheese to Caesar salad and pizza. I’m picky about certain ingredients, but they’re really serious about catering to special requests. I’ve never had them mess up an order, or miss something. It shouldn’t be a big deal, but I can’t say the same about a lot of places in the area(and I probably go there the most).

Why doesn’t this great spot have more reviews? Perfect Pita is an awesome, cheap, quick lunch. The first time I came here, I dove in and went for the chicken veggie hummus wrap, however, I requested jalapeño hummus. Each time I go back, I typically get the same thing because the beast is delicious. I say beast because the wrap is huge and best of all, it’s under $ 7. Packed with veggies, lathered on hummus, served in a warm pocket pita, wheat or white. They serve a good assortment of sandwiches and wraps, from a steak and cheese, pizzas, to gyros, and falafels. Various hummus spreads, which you can get in a container and take it out with you. They even have an individual size hummus and half pita for a buck. Great healthy snack(sort of). Anyway, if you haven’t been here, it’s highly recommended for a quick lunch.

This place is PACKED during the lunch rush which is pretty unusual given that it’s Bethesda. My first impression of The Perfect Pita was, «Oh, overpriced Hot Pockets.» After I tried one for myself, I have to say that a Perfect Pita is WAY above Hot Pockets.

This place is awesome! I am fairly new to the pita and humus world. The prices are extremely reasonable and their menu is amazing. It can become a bit crowded around lunchtime(12pm-2pm) but that’s just proof that this place is great!

This is my new favorite lunch spot in Bethesda. They make a wide variety of pita sandwiches on tasty, fresh bread. If you are in a mood for Mediterranean cuisine, get hummus and falafel, or if not, get a cheese steak, calzone, or whatever you want stuffed into a pita! The prices are very reasonable for a good-sized meal. I usually just walk in and get the special of the day — I have not been disappointed yet! All the hummus flavors are really tasty — I think black bean and cilantro is my favorite.

First!(Lame I know). I remember reading about this place on Twitter so I wanted to try it today. I guess others heard about it too because it was swamped. I ordered a chicken hummus veggie stuffed pita. I was pretty surprised at how big it was for the price($ 6.50). Hummus was good and the ingredients were fresh. They have a huge menu and prices were cheap. Service was friendly and quick. This might have become the new lunchtime staple for me here in Bethesda.
