Safeway Food & Drug

Always a line even at odd hours. I live across the street and this store drives me crazy, should be so convenient but the poor service always makes me frustrated.

I am sorry every single time I shop here. It is slightly more conveniently on my way home than other grocery stores but it takes ten times as long to check out. Right now I am the 9^th person in line and I’m on the shortest of three lines. Additionally, they once again didn’t have something I really needed, so I’m going to have to go somewhere else tomorrow. How they have not learned that they need more than three cashiers during the evening is beyond me. There are literally 40+ people waiting in line to be checked out. I am annoyed and in disbelief that Safeway would choose to continually remain so severely understaffed and under stocked. I have finally had it and won’t be shopping here again.

This is not the best or the Worst grocery store around, meats and bakery are Ok, but service is getting better than it use to be, employees are improving the way they interact with customers (Not much eye-​rolling this days), I wish they open more than 2 or 3 register during rush hours,. Fruits don’t look all that fresh, but vegetables are fine.
