Since I work in downtown Bethesda, I decided to walk in the office to make the appointment on behalf of my sister! The person at the front — I think she’s related to Dr. Hall — made the appointment without any problem. The problem started when I called the day before the scheduled appointment to confirm. The person who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude; she kept interrupting me to tell me there’s no appointment scheduled! When I tried to remind her that I stopped by the office to schedule the appointment; she said: «We only see patients who have health insurance!» I replied«My sister will pay cash and in advance» I also added that the reason she doesn’t have insurance because they live in Doha and they’re just visiting the U.S., she replied: «well, this is a private business and we decide whom to see!!» then she hang up! I called back to find out why she hang up before we finish our phone conversation but unfortunately she was not willing to speak to me. My point is if they only see patients who have health insurance why they didn’t tell me that when I made the appointment! My experience with Next Generation Pediatrics was one of the worst experience I have had. They really made me feel that they see certain patients and not ALL people are welcome!

Dr. Hall is a top-notch pediatrician. She is not only well-educated but she easily translates this to exemplary patient care. It doesn’t matter if you are a year old or 100 years old, Dr. Hall makes everybody(family too) a priority. I feel confident and secure when Dr. Hall or her NPs treat me, my family, and my community; I know we are in the best of hands. Thank you, Dr. Hall and crew!

This is a place that I truly want to give a five star rating to on account of Dr. Hall’s mom(she is awesome) and Rosa who I think is a PA(she is awesome). I just can’t. Today was the latest in a string of disappointments. We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hall, but she was out on vacation for the second time in 2 – 3 months so we got a nurse. Some warning would be nice. We opted to reschedule for three reasons. First, we had a new insurance card today. The first time we had an insurance card issue it started with a new front desk person. Dr. Hall outsources billing to a northern Virginia based billing company that bills first and does not ask any questions. When they do something wrong and are asked to correct it they just repeat the same steps again and send the same bill all over again. This was a nightmare that took months to resolve. In the end, Dr. Hall’s mom was helpful but it I would prefer to avoid having to undergo this experience. If I wanted Comcast caliber customer service then I would use a small Dr.‘s office. Second, since Dr. Hall and her mom were out and a very young(probably high school student(not the first time) person was working the front desk we were put in the waiting area and exposed to a family with Strep throat. Normally, Dr. Hall’s mom would put sick vs. well patients in different rooms to keep them from being exposed to each other. Third, there have been a number of issues ranging from vaccinations missed or skipped to a nurse not using the black plastic sterile caps on her otoscope. We like Dr. Hall, her mom, Rosa and her nurses personally. All of the issues they seem to have are easy to remedy. It is just that we keep being disapointed.
