Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics

Only after I posted my review here did I suddenly get attention from Hanger. A regional manager called, looked into it, concluded it was because I had been quoted in December and billed in January (and therefore was back at the beginning of my deductable), and forgave the charge. So props to them for that.
I guess if you have problems with Hanger, now you know to post a negative review on Unilocal.A better business practice might just be to treat all customers better, rather than just the ones who post on Unilocal,but at least I didn’t have to pay way more than I was quoted.
They also scheduled me a new appointment to deal with the lumpiness of the orthotics, and tried cork orthotics instead of the ones I had. They did feel like a better quality product but were still not nearly as good for my feet as all of my various pairs of Merrells, as they were basically the same foot shape but three times as thick as Merrell’s insoles.
So my advice: Skip Hanger, buy Merrells from Zappos. Now there are some companies who know how to treat their customers…
