Very disappointed with Gaylord’s. They have a pretty high opinion of themselves, but it’s not deserved. Problems when I had them make a lamp for me:
1. I told them very specifically when I needed the lamp. They failed to have it ready on the agreed upon date, and the owner took no responsibility, refusing to admit a mistake.
2. Unhappy with the hardware used on the lamp– an obviously unflattering color with the lamp. Had to be sprayed another color.
3. A very poor selection of wooden lamp bottoms.
4. Was told it would take many weeks to have the shade I wanted in stock.
I expected much better from this store.

while this place has a wide array of unique lamps and shades and the people who work here are very knowledgeable i was still a bit disappointed. the associate i worked with was snobbish and gave me wrong information. she told me the lamp shades i ordered would arrive within 2 weeks but when i called to inquire about my shades i found out that shade orders take an average of 6 weeks. i’m not sure though if there are any other places i can go for lamp parts in this area. maybe that’s why they feel they can treat customers the way that they do:(
