Such a fun and relatively affordable birthday party for a small group. This place is spotless and our host, Kira, was great with the girls. Build a Bear rocks!

I love Build-A-Bear, let me just preface this entire scenario by saying that I am, indeed, a fan. The animals are cute and cuddle, the accessories are cute and the clothes sometimes have me thinking«wow, do they make that in people sizes?» But, they will embarrass you here. With their charm and their desire to see you spin in circles and rub little hearts on your nose. The best thing you can do is play along! I always manage to go in there in a good mood and leave in a good mood. If you’re stuffing a bear, let them get their kicks out of it. Spin in that circle and rub that heart on your cheek as fast as you can! On to serious stuff. If you’re planning on buying at least 4 animals from the store in the next 6 months are so, sign up for the Stuff Fur Stuff club. Every $ 100 spent gives you $ 10 back. Animals run about $ 15 each for the cheaper ones, and outfits are about $ 10 each to start. That’s about $ 25 an animal, and 4 of them later you’ve earned yourself a $ 10 card. Keep the tags on the animals, even if it’s a gift. The tags don’t have the prices on them anymore, and that way the person it’s being given to can come in and name their animal, if they should want to. I always enjoy Bethesda’s Build-A-Bear. The staff’s friendly and great, and have even gone out of their way to pre-stuff an animal for me when I forgot about a baby shower at the last minute. Friendly and helpful, it’s a good time to be had.
