Went here for lunch with my mom recently(per the suggestion from the owner at Redding Coffee Roasters) and was very pleased. It’s a nice, quiet little eatery that, while it’s located right on a main road, is easy to miss because it’s tucked into the corner of a plaza. The girl who took our order and served us was very friendly and offered helpful suggestions. They have a lot of high quality tea options(mostly Republic of Tea brand if I recall correctly) which is always nice if you’re a tea lover. The food was decent, and I really do love that they have gluten free options, however, I have a slight suggestion. I don’t know if the pasta salad that they gave my mom to go with her sandwich with gluten free bread was gluten free as well, but if it wasn’t then that kind of defeats the purpose of her order. Again, just a slight criticism and maybe they can substitute it with something else by request, otherwise I would definitely visit O’Neil’s again if I were in the area.

Weekend mornings, O’Neils is the place to be. Local flavor galore, great omelets and pancakes, thick country bacon and a hearty cup o joe. Nuff said. Word of warning — if you see a gazillion bicycles parked outside, you might want to come back later. O’Neils is big with the weekend spandex warriors and let’s just say you’re sure to see more sausage walking around then you do on the tables. Sorry, but middle aged asscrack isn’t attractive when you’re hung over on Saturday morn. Also, a sudden onslaught of hungry bikers can really slow the small kitchen down.
