Hello, The woman at the takeout window was very friendly yesterday evening. She was kind enough to warn me about the deer in the area and how people have been spotting them near the roads. The food and service was great as always. I have been a customer at this McDonald’s for years and never came across a problem. To sum it up this McDonald’s has great food, people, clean and that is what you will find at this McDonald’s .God bless!

EVERY time we stop here I immediately regret it. If you must stop, make sure to use the drive-thru because inside is ALWAYS a really long wait. And the flies. There are always always always dozens of flies swarming around the menu board and monitor. Makes you reconsider the food you just ordered. The older guy taking orders is always really nice, which makes it so much worse that everything about this place is a dump.

Fancy updating done, employees need updating too. Stopped at it, went inside to order to go. At that point there was no one in either drive thru ordering, nor was there anyone in line to get order. There was no one at counters on my side. 3 employees on their side, one complaining about cups she was trying to do something with, one who was in register, and very short one. All 3 of them ignored me, none spoke, one with cups and one at register just turned and walked away… short one went to drive thru, why I don’t know as there was NOONE there. Nada. She finally came back, looked at me and said«what do you want?». Took order, money, and finally handed me my food. Didn’t ask anything, didn’t say anything else. Made complaint and did here from someone higher up, and she did try to apologize for what happened. But friend of mine routinely orders unsweetened tea and cup of ice from them, she is diabetic and is very clear to say unsweetened. Yet every single time she gets… drum roll here… SWEETTEA. Every single time. Spousal unit doesn’t eat pickles or onions, orders hamburgers without those… burger comes… little sticker on it to indicate it is special order… bite into it… pickles and onions EVERYSINGLETIME. They have an order screen, can they not read it? Waste of time to fix restaurant when employees are worse than ever.

If you’re driving along I-35 at 10:30 in the evening and are starving you are best advised to pass on by these golden arches. Granted McDonald’s is barely passable as food anyways and the service is predictably unpredictable, varying wildly from location to location but Bethany, MO ranks highly in terms of employee stupidity. Taking orders is a difficult task apparently. My traveling companion and I ordered 2 double cheeseburger meals, one of the meals with no ketchup or mustard requested on the burgers. For one of the drinks tea was requested but the employee replied they only had hi-c — huh is sweet tea not tea? Says you have it on your menu. Not only did the burgers arrive all topped with ketchup and mustard they super sized without asking, unfairly up-charging us. So my travel companion enters the store and explains the mistakes. And is not even offered a refund for the up-charge. What do we end up with? Four burgers, all without ketchup or mustard. And one was a sausage patty not a hamburger patty! How does that even happen?! For reals guys… Predictably, the food sucked; lukewarm burgers, cheese not even melted and cold, unsalted fries. I hope they pocket the money from incorrectly up-charging people so they can save up to finish their GEDs because methinks they will find themselves unemployed soon.
