Honestly not impressed. Not much of a selection and we went early in the morning. The donuts were basically the same as Dunkin’ Donuts. The coffee was awful.

I stopped here for an early morning treat to take home to my family after finishing a bicycle ride that ended short due to a flat tire. I was hoping to make up for the unfortunate start to the day and be the hero at home with donuts. Griff’s has an excellent selection, from apple cinnamon to chocolate glazed with or without sprinkles. I ordered ½ a dozen. The glazed were a hit, along with the chocolate glazed. All the others were dry, especially the apple fritter(I have high expectations because I grew up in the south near an amazing donut place with the best fritters!). If you’re wanting donuts, stick to the classic glazed and you won’t be disappointed. Coffee is Lavazza from McDonalds, so I skipped ordering a drink. Overall, while I would come here over Dunkin Donuts any day because it’s a local business with personality, I wasn’t very impressed. I think I’ll stick with McGabe’s up the street for breakfast pastries, coffee, and my chances of improving any beach morning.

So fresh and delicious! Makes other donuts pale in comparison. This place is the real deal.

I gave two stars because I have been here before last summer and it was great but I’m dissapointed that I came today around 1015 and they were completely sold out. I know it opens at 7 am… I wish they would of made more product for more than 3hrs.

Let’s not get crazy here. Ok baked goods, nothing to write home about. Skim milk or cream only for coffee available at 0930, I had better joe and Danish at WaWa.

I had to update my review since I came the first time at 5Pm and the cases were empty. I went first thing in the morning and the cases were full of donuts, muffins, croissants, scones, danish, etc. I can vouch for the cheese danish, bear claw and donut — all of which I tasted. Very good. You can tell that everything is baked fresh with home made goodness and not artifical gunk. The coffee smelled very good as well.

After our bad experience at Bishop’s the day before, we were looking forward to trying Griff’s today. MUCH better. The coffee and espresso had flavor(not as rich as Starbucks or Caribou but still worthy of a coffee house). The baked goods were fresh & tasty. She enjoyed the cheese croissant and I choose a coconut donut. Both were very good. We shared a cinnamon scone; it was the best scone I’ve had in a long time. Scones should be dry but most are too dry. This one was dry yet had a delicate shortbread like texture with a little bit of crispy on the outside. If we were not on bicycles I would have picked up one of those pies in the glass case! The biggest difference between Griff’s and Bishops is that Griff’s was SPOTLESS! From the ceiling fans to the corners of the cases to the espresso machine… this place is run by people who know how to clean! We’d definitely visit again.
