We were looking for some good soul food today and found out about this place, so we decided to give it a try. Like the previous poster says, this was probably a home converted to a restaurant. Walking into the place, I was immediately impressed on how clean it was! I had the Ox tails, with greens, sweet potatoes and lima beans. The Ox tails were fantastic, the veggies were fresh and extremely good! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for some good soul food!

So glad my friend showed me this place.
Atmosphere–
From the outside this is an old house converted into a restaurant. The inside however would make you think it had been purposely built for this. So clean. Every time I go no exceptions clean clean clean.
Staff–
The owner is the cook/​server/​cleaner/​cashier. She is so full of energy and one of the nicest people you will meet.
Food–
OMG! Ox tales, hamburger steak, lamb, chicken, fish, mac n cheese, okra, yams, rice, rolls, corn bread. It is all so good. The portion sizes are overly big. If you leave hungry you need to see a doctor because you have a tapeworm or something. This place is unbaleavable good. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.
