I recently bought masa for tamales on Christmas eve, and the masa was super fresh. I had to wait about 10 minds for them to finish making a fresh batch of masa. It was excellent just a little short on salt and the staff was friendly-ish they ran out of containers so they gave me the masa in plastic bags other than that prefect.

I’m very particular about my masa. This place offers by far the best masa for tamales. Its fluffy like it should be & very workable. By the way its greatly priced. I’ll be getting my masa here from now on.

This place is awesome! Brand new local business that features fresh tortillas and masa for sale. It is a bit hard to find since it is just a glass store-front right now. We stopped in for some fresh tortillas and were not disappointed. The front has a selection of fresh tortilla chips, tostadas and corn husks for your tamales. At the counter you can order fresh masa dough by the pound or fresh-made tortillas. The sign out front said«tortillas 3 for $ 1». Important note … that means 3DOZEN tortillas for $ 1. We accidentally ended up with 6 dozen freshly made, hot tortillas to go home with. Oops. I can attest to the outstanding quality of both the tortillas and the tortilla chips. Haven’t tried out the masa dough yet, but have plans to make that happen in the near future. Also, all their advertising is in Spanish but the counter staff speaks English for those of us that aren’t multilingual. Definitely worth the trip.
