Very disappointing. This is just a pop-up retail space in a strip mall parking lot. While it appears to have a good selection of annuals, it has a very poor selection of anything else. Even perennials. Shrubbery or trees? Forget it. I came here expecting knowledgeable employees and useful supplies. I found neither.

Awesome place to buy flowers! They DO accept credit cards, and you can get a great deal on a variety of plants. The setting is so great, and always brings a patch of life to an empty parking lot. I’ve bought flowers from conglomerates like Jewel and Home Depot, and they simply aren’t cared for enough, and die soon after I bring them home. Clover’s takes extra care of all of their plants, and they are very knowledgeable about all of their products. Super friendly staff, great plants and great atmostphere. A must!

Ooh old reviews below… Let me make a correction: they accept credit and debit cards. This summer only garden center is set up in a parking lot and has a superb variety of plants; trees, bushes, perennials, annuals, bulbs, tubors, seeds, herbs, vegetables, fertilizers, mulch… Try the citrus scented misquito plants to fend away the blood suckers, the curly purple basil for color in a shady spot of your garden and then let yourself be seduced by the blooms of the annuals available. Happy gardening! The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I love this place for most gardening needs(maybe more so for plants and not necessarily equipment). Who needs Home Depot or other large stores where customers are shopping for doors or plumbing or paint? This is definitely a gardener’s spot. Ask any questions; they will give you the low-down on what you plan to grow. I purchased most of my summer plants, herbs and flowers from Clover’s and they’ve done beautifully(except for the jalapenos, but I think that has something to do with my soil this year). They’ve got a wide selection of things you can nurture and love, and even crazy, independent greenies that you can ignore for a while. And it doesn’t stop with summer. During the Fall they have pumpkins and gourds of all colors, shapes and sizes. You know I’d be glued to the same spot staring at a bunch of them for hours to try to find the right one! They have tools to carve the«punks» with, hay stacks, fall decorations. And the various mums are gorgeous! I can’t stress enough that everyone that works there is very helpful and knows their plants. I see Monica A. says it’s «usually cash only.» I have paid with a credit card before, but on busy days there are separate lines for cash and credit, so pay attention to that when you pay, or you could wait in a line for a while only to get booted to another. It’s camped out in the parking lot of Cermak Plaza and is right next to a McDonald’s, but if you can stomach the smell of wafting burger grease for a bit, Clover’s is a sweet garden haven.
