I had a couple of these hot dogs last Friday. I order the same as I have since about 1985… mustard, onions and meat sauce. A fresh steamed Martin Rosol hot dog on a steamed bun. The meat sauce tastes the same every time, finely ground beef with the perfect amount of tomatoes and spices. Crunchy white onions and mustard with the right amount of zing. He has other toppings including sauerkraut. Outside picnic tables only or have em wrapped to go. As the name states «Delicious» dogs…

No frills, what you see is what you get kinda joint!
If you enjoy a nice chili dog, topped with homemade chili sauce, fresh cut onions, and a smear of mustard then check our Delicious dogs.
Eddie serves Martin Rosol dogs (made 10 minutes away). Steamed dog, steamed bun. Toppings are free. I like it. simple, cheap, and clearly going towards a hard working local guy.
Definitely a contender in the long list of excellent hot dog hot spots in our state.

I used to visit this place when he had a truck across from Sage Park 20 years ago. Was happy to see him back with his own place. The dogs are exactly as I remember… AWESOME. Best in CT, hands down. Get them with sauce

I’ve probably been a fan of eddie’s hot dogs for more than 30 years! OK. capital lunch, doogie’s and blackie’s get all the hot dog buzz… but let me tell you… eddie’s hot dogs are at the top of my list! From his humble beginnings in his truck at the I-​91 Cromwell exit to his ridgeway plaza location on the berlin turnpike now… eddie has been serving hot dogs and only hot dogs for a long long time. the dogs are big and juicy. believe he steams his rolls… and his «sauce» is full of meat and extremely tasty. a little hard to find but worth it. he’s a one man operation. extremely nice guy… and his «delicious dogs» are just that.
