They have a nice redone patio for guest to sit an enjoy their ice cream and if your lucky watch the trains pass by! Great for making memories with the family for a spur of the moment kindof deal !

I love blizzards! I got the Hawaiian blizzard here, a large, don’t judge, and I swear it had more of everything here! More fudge, more bananas, more strawberries and more pineapple. While this is a great thing, I realized that I don’t particularly want mine that chocolatey. I always thought I was missing out when my blizzard with fudge was pretty vanilla looking, but now I know I prefer it that way. This location also has a drive thru and lots of seating, I liked the location a lot. I also realized I can make a convenient stop here taking back roads between Savers in Newington and Savers in Meriden, in case you ever decide to do such a thing and need DQ along the way.
Oh, I didn’t love the obnoxiously loud speaker she shouted at me through, but I suppose you don’t need privacy like at a pharmacy. She also forgot to give me my change until I reminded her that she owed me some, and luckily did give me the right change for my $ 20! That was almost one very expensive blizzard! All ended well.

Drive Thru-​CHECK. Yummy treats-​CHECK. Basically down the street from me-​CHECK. I love love LOVE DQ!!! All treats are sooo good but my go to are the Blizzards! I love all the candy bar options and all the pie options (they have these seasonally for the most part) AND I love that I can create my own concoction which usually features peanut butter. I also love the Blizzard cakes and would prefer them to ALWAYS be my birthday cake every year. For sundaes I like the peanut buster sundae and the banana split. I also like their frozen drinks, specifically blue raspberry flavor… I like to freeze the drink and then eat it slowly with a spoon until my mouth turns a fabulous blue. I have had their «hot eats» before and those are pretty good as well. You can also buy frozen boxed treats for your freezer here is you so desire. AMAZE!

Ordered 2 Blizzards — 1 had nothing but ice cream (forgot to add the ingrediants) and the other had all the ingrediants at the bottom of the cup. Definitely not up to par with other stores

The Management is very rude and the new snack melts are half the size compared to the Dairy Queen in Cromwell. I live in Berlin and I’ll drive to Cromwell from now on.

I prefer the «dine-​in» DQ’s which are more prevalent down south. However, this one is very nice. It has a drive-​through, two walk-​up windows, fast service, and a nice outdoor patio. It’s walking distance from the train station, and would be a nice place to watch trains from during the busier parts of the day. Prices are good, solid food, and you can’t go wrong with a blizzard.

The building is unique.
Parking is a bit tough, but it is easy to get in and out of the place.
There is outdoor seating and the staff was very pleasant.
If I lived in the area, I would come to this DQ every week.
If you are a fast food burger junkie, or want to give the froyo a rest for a bit and live within 30 miles of this location, stop and by and give it a try.

Oh dairy, oh sugar, oh probably fake chocolate. You complete me on a hot summer night. Definitely a step up from the DQ on the Berlin Turnpike — friendly staff, generous servings, always napkins and a spoon in the bag. And a nice drive thru in case you get a hankering for a sundae after you’ve got your jammies on.

DQ is always a favorite. This location is great. There is a very large fully fenced patio. A long trough for drive through patrons. And more than ample parking for the after the game rush.
The food here has been high quality and the staff have been friendly.
This is a very kid friendly location.
