Auto One

Scheduled an 8:00 am Saturday appointment and waited 30 minutes for anyone to show up. No show with no notice.

Being rather new to the area makes it even more of a challenge when issues arise with your vehicle. My car battery has not been holding a charge and I thought «oh great. I do not have a clue who a good mechanic would be to look at electrical issues». I did not want to go to the dealer for two reasons — the price and I think Toyota has enough business right now due to their own problems. :{
My first thought was that my battery drain could be linked to my remote car starter I had installed 4 – 5 yrs ago while living in Upstate NY. Unfortunately for me, I no longer live close to where I had the remote starter installed. Therefore, I looked up the brand of installed remote starter via on-​line for local business that still work with the same brand to see if they could help. The list generated four places, one of which was Auto One Glass & Accessories of Berkley. I called their office thinking they could help… boy was I wrong. No customer service what so ever. The guy who answered the phone spoke to me like I was a moron. In hindsight, because of that single telephone call interaction I was kind of glad Auto One could not (did not) help me. On a side note: I found it rather interesting that a different store branch in Madison Heights also had negative Unilocal reviews. Perhaps rudeness is just company wide thing?!
I do have to say, even though the guy was a jerk he gave me the name of a place I could try to look up for help w/​my car problem. Thanks, but that is ok. I ended up finding a place that I wanted to give my business to — Sol’s Complete Car Care in Berkley. :)
