This is a nice little shop that specializes in American and English antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries. Walk in and look around and ask the owner Mr. Livingston about some of the many interesting objects he has — he is a font of information and is happy to share his knowledge! Check out his website first before you go so you can get an idea of what he has for sale. In-person prices are quite reasonable and if you see something you like, you will get a fair price.

Tom Livingston is a real connoisseur of fine furniture, a dealer of renown and a scholar to boot! He is one of the most highly regarded people in antiques in California. Fine stuff, fair prices. Friendly, unpretentious, and knowledgeable.

Period American and English furniture and accessories, Georgian glass, Delftware, Chinese and Old Paris porcelains. No doubt the selections here are perfect if you’re decorating a spacious Nob Hill condo or a mansion in Pacific Heights, but they’re slightly impractical if you’re living in a studio with a budget to match. A fun place to browse and, if you have a perverse sense of humor like I do, you’ll dress down for the occasion. Salespeople who don’t sniff a sale usually look the other way, allowing you to play a mental game of ‘if only’ without being disturbed.
