We used to love coming here, but they recently had a dramatic price increase, and we can’t afford it any more.

We asked about a kids scoop and they invented the option on the spot in a little topping cup. It was perfect for our toddler! I tasted the toffee, crème brûlée, malted chocolate and cookies and cream. All were good but the malted chocolate and cookies and cream were the best. The flavors were all great and there were lots of cookie chunks. Maybe it’s a little pricy but good for homemade and a small business. I also loved the tiny kids table perfect for kids!

Gotta respect the fact that this local shop makes their ice cream using organic ingredients. I love the Salted Caramel ice cream with the chocolate waffle cone. I haven’t been able to will myself from trying anything else. Staff is always kind and lines move fairly quickly.

As soon as iScream sign said«organic» ice cream, I automatically think it is healthy and I can eat as much as I want. Muahahaha! Despite the sluggish line and everyone wanting to try a gazillion flavors, it was finally my turn to get some tasty ice cream. I got a scoop of the blueberry(refreshing with fresh bits of blueberries) and green tea on top of their homemade waffle cone. YUMUMMUMM! The next time I’m in this area, I’ll definitely stop by to try some more flavors. Until then, I hope you give this ice cream parlor a try. Cheers!

So fresh and yummy– our go-to ice cream spot! I love the blood orange and chocolate scoops together. The fresh mint chocolate chip is amazing as well.

This place is ice cream perfection. First off, natural, organic ingredients plus they have unique flavors, great service, and superb sanitary habits. The young lady excused herself to wash her hands after handling money. Now that’s how you do it! Oh, and did I mention you can split one scoop between two flavors? Boom! That’s your mind being blown! IScream is, without a doubt, the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! I have never had ice cream so creamy and smooth. It tasted so fresh and pure. It’s all about good, clean ingredients. The flavors truly shine. The salted caramel was the best version I’ve ever had! It wasn’t overly sweet at all, and was deliciously creamy. The cara cara orange, however was the true star. It was bright, fresh, authentic, and pure. No strange coloring, but it was speckled with fresh orange zest. I will never forget that deliciousness! A customer told me he drives all the way from Oakland, just to get that perfect scoop. I would too. $ 4 is all it takes to change your life.

Went here today, they had the best ice scream I have ever had in my life. The service was fantastic! I’m the kind of customer who wants to sample every flavor, which workers can sometimes get irritated with, but the worker who was serving my boyfriend and myself was so nice, and kept offering for us to try more and more. Definitely will be coming back! I think her name was Maura!!! Thank you!!!

Pros: Great atmosphere. Nice servers. Great selection. Awesome malted chocolate. Cons: Nothing. Man, this is definitely a place to go to for some great ice cream. Their price is great for the flavor and quality of ice cream you get here. The servers were very friendly and patient! I tried their Mexican chocolate and their malted chocolate. I’m not really a fan of the spicy chocolate so I decided to get the malted. Man it was very rich, creamy and the taste was definitely mouth watering. It’s a great ending to a nice dinner for sure!

My friend and I came her for dessert after dining elsewhere. Very nice and attentive staff, and very good ice cream made from high-quality ingredients. I had two scoops in a dish(dark chocolate, and a creamy lemon), and really enjoyed both flavors.

Tried out iScream for the first time when I was at Solano Stroll Sun 9÷13÷15. There was a line, but it moved fast. I didn’t want to hold up the line so didn’t try the flavors before getting them. I just picked a double scoop of Mexican Chocolate and Crème Brulee $ 5 on a waffle cone extra $ 75. I liked the Crème Brulee — it wasn’t too sweet and nice and cold. Mexican Chocolate was melty. Waffle cone was ok. They give out a Frequent Buyer card if you want. I only got 1 stamp for 2 scoops — bogus.

I think I’ve found the best ice cream place ever! San Francisco has a lot of GOOD ice cream shops with a lot of fuss around them, but this place blow them away. It’s a kinda hidden gem in Berkley, tiny store but cutely designed, with supper friendly staff! Those girls were amazing! I got the lime cream and dark chocolate, in a chocolate waffle cone of course! The lime cream was the best and most refreshing thing I’ve ever tasted and paired so beautiful with the rich dark chocolate. It even had lime zest in it! If you order one scoop, like I did, you can have it split in two flavors! And believe me one scoop is enough!!! Such a delicious ice cream shop, I only wish it was closer!

Decided to head over hear when I realized it was national Ice Cream day. Apparently a lot of other people had the same idea cause the line was extremely long and the wait took a while. They had a few interesting flavors and a lot of flavors you’d find at a «normal» ice cream shop. I got the earl grey, crème brûlée, and chocolate sorbet. Earl grey had a nice strong flavor but tasted more flowery than other ones I’ve had. Crème brûlée was also good but I definitely prefer Bi-Rite’s(which has caramelized sugar bits). The one I never tried before was the chocolate sorbet and it was very interesting. It was so dark, almost black in color and I liked the small taste I had before I bought it. It was tasty but very strange. It didn’t taste like sorbet or ice cream and then it hit me. It tastes like frozen hot fudge. It was still good but it is very dense and it was just too much for me by the end. Overall, a pretty good ice cream place if you’re in the area. There’s some seating indoors and outdoors, parking nearby(though it’s still very busy on some days), and the employees were nice. It’s not my top pick but I’d happily come again.

I love iScream! On a weekend night there is usually a line but the most I’ve had to wait was probably 25ish minutes when the line has been way out the door. Come in a group and the line will go by faster as you converse with one another :) WHAT I’VEGOTTEN: 1) coconut: mm I love the pieces of coconut in this ice cream! If you are a fan of coconut you will not be disappointed 2) blueberry: this is also one of my favorites. There are obvious pieces of blueberry, and it’s not too sweet. It’s a perfect fruitiness that you can tell is made from blueberries, not all syrupy fake stuff. 3) I’ve tasted several others but when I love a flavor I tend to stick to it since I don’t get ice cream too often… get it on the waffle cone! Super fresh and sweet. If you don’t get it in a cone, you can get it in a cup and they ask you if you’d like a waffle chip with it — get it! :) What I also like about iScream is that they rotate some of their flavors out depending on the season so it never gets old!

I’m always looking for 3 things when I eat ice cream… 1) texture. creamy or icy? 2) flavor. self-explanatory. 3) cones. homemade? The texture was the best feature about iScream. It was creamy, smooth, not icy whatsoever. This is what really made this place a 4 star review. The flavors were good. There were some usual and unusual ones. I went with the crème brûlée which seriously tasted like, well, crème brûlée. It had that burnt aftertaste you would normally get from the bruleed sugar. Awesome. I ordered my ice cream in a cup which came with a piece of a waffle. Nice touch and great that it comes with every order. All in all, I really enjoyed the ice cream. Solid 4 stars.

Oh my gosh! I love this place! This is my new favorite ice cream joint! I love their unique flavors. I came here after work on my birthday with friends after grabbing an early dinner. The establishment is pretty small but there’s a few tables inside and outside to sit at and enjoy their delicious ice cream. They let you try flavors and I ended up getting a small with 2 flavors which were Mexican chocolate and Dark chocolate. Both flavors were yummy and consistency was perfect. I can’t describe it because you have to go there yourself to know what I’m talking about. It is just a great ice cream shop! The Mexican chocolate had a kick to it because of the spice but still delicious. And I’m always a fan of dark chocolate so it really hit the spot when I took a bite of it. The girl that was helping us also gave us generous portions. My friend also asked jokingly if birthday girl(me) gets a free ice cream and she said YES! That was super nice of her to do that especially with the generous scoops she gave us. Anyways I will definitely come here again when I am craving ice cream. Just writing this review makes me want some right NOW!

IScream is a hit or miss for me… but one flavor keeps me going back and it’s their Orange Cream. This flavor alone deserves 4 stars but it’s not always available lol. I usually come here after eating around Solano, especially Zacharys since they’re on the same block. They’re definitely no Bi-Rite, Humphreys or Icees, but they’re a close second. There are unique flavors and their cones are quiet delicious. The smell of the cinnamon cone is enough to draw you in the door which is clever marketing plow. Totally unrelated, I do love their wall décor. They have ice cream scoopers from different generations. Some look old enough to be displayed in museum. If you’re eating on Solano and are craving some ice cream, stop by and definitely get the cone.

OHMYGOD. This is the best ice cream around, period. Last time I was there I had a double scoop of lime cream and Thai tea. It tastes JUST like thai ice tea! So amazing. The flavors and textures are incredible, and the price is just too good to beat(2 large scoops for around $ 3.) And bonus: it’s organic! I visit this place everytime I come to Berkeley, and the fact that it’s just a few doors down from Zachary’s on Solano does not hurt either. Considering a drive down to Berkeley this weekend just for this ice cream!

«Homemade organic ice cream.» This place is perfect for a late night treat. They offer unique and tasty flavors at a fair price. I got the Mexican chocolate on a waffle cone for $ 3.75, and it was so worth it! My parents got the burnt caramel… Which will definitely be the flavor I get when I return. I went on a Saturday evening around 8:45pm and the line was so long it took about 30 minutes to actually get served. But that’s just another indicator of how good it is ;)

Service could stand to be a bit sweeter here, but the TWO types of caramel they offer(burnt and salted) more than make up for it. This is a real artisan ice cream shop, not some old school joint peddling mint chip and rainbow sherbet. No! They have exquisite flavors like spicy ginger, thai tea, and mexican chocolate, along with their famous caramels. Seriously, the burnt caramel will change your LIFE. Stop in for a double scoop($ 4.50) before a movie down at Albany Twin. Date night perfection!

Their burnt caramel on top of a chocolate waffle cone is perfection! I’m usually not a sweets person but the ice cream here quiet possibly converted me over. Although I live in San Jose, if I ever find myself in the area again, I will definitely stop by for an ice cream cone.
