There is no gallery I would rather trust with my framing. They are extremely talented, professional and genuinely nice people. And my walls can attest to that. From standard framing (with museum quality results) to challenging special projects, they have always come through. The gallery space always has interesting wall candy as well.

Every year Barbara Anderson’s Valentine Show fills me up with inspiration, shopping glee and heart (s). The gorgeous post card arrives in the mail inviting me to this great SuperBowl Alternative.
Another year has gone by and no post card. Is it the end of an era? If so, I will continue the spirit Barbara has created around a table of valentine making supplies and display the many works of art (artist made cards) that I’ve acquired over the years.

Barbara has done all my framing for many years. Each time she amazes me … somehow she finds the perfect frame and mat … and in the process shows the painting, print, photograph, whatever to it’s very best effect. And she is a terrific person. You will not be disappointed

Dear Barbara,
I think you’re the best. Since the chance meeting at that backyard wedding those years ago you, your work, your elves at the workshop and your lovely Gecko have added a dimension to my life I didn’t even know was missing.
You turned me on to Creative Growth, for which I will be forever grateful.
More relevant for the readers here (though by now they are feeling an odd affection for this lady they’ve not yet met growing in their hearts), Barbara is the best framer ever. She wraps her art around your art in a loving, complimentary way. My photographs are ok. I like them. In Barbara’s frame I’m amazed at what I’ve done.
But in reality it’s what she’s done.
Thank you Barbara, for making me pretty.

Barbara has framed many pieces of art for us over many years. She is intelligent and has a quick eye for picking just the right frames and mats. The work is always carefully done, and although we could spend less elsewhere, we know it will always be perfect when Barbara is involved. She’s fun to work with.

After trying several framers in Marin County, with only mediocre results, I took my artwork to Barbara Anderson after a Berkeley art and photography printer recommended her, saying, «You won’t find a better framer anywhere.» I had a rush job to give her for an upcoming show, and although she wasn’t cheap, she gave me exactly what I wanted, and did everything beautifully. Thank you, Barbara.

I’m a photographer so I have stuff to frame I use Barbara Anderson because I find framing to be a Great Mystery. For some reason I used to think I could do framing myself — at least figure out what matt and what frame goes well with my picture. Well, no, I can’t do framing! When I try, my results are disappointing. I have taken several poor attempts in to Barbara for her analysis and every time she has chosen the right frame the right size matt and all the right colors.
Barbara is a calm and quiet person with a cool sense of humor and, as I mentioned, a great eye.

First an honest disclaimer, Barbara has become a friend over the years of our having been her customers. Nonetheless, we could sneak off and go elsewhere if she didn’t continually live up to the very highest standards. She literally does museum quality work — you’ll find Barbara Anderson frames on some Very Important Pieces as well as our more humble collection.
