Took a double damask Irish linen tablecloth and napkins (heirloom quality) to be laundered. I was assured over and over again that Master Cleaner knew how to properly clean linen. Well, they don’t. The linens came back looking as though they had been washed with rocks and the «ironing» was a joke. Anyone who knows fine linen knows that linen should be soft to the hand but crisp at the same time. It’s what makes linen so wonderful at a formal dinner. I am so disappointed. I only hope that I can take them to a quality cleaner and get the job done right!
