This is a good spot, close to Kentucky Lake and the KY Dam area. It is a fairly basic steak/​buffet spot, think Golden Corral or Ryan’s. In terms of food quality, it’s probably in between those two!
When I was there a few days ago, we had quite a wait to get seated, but there was a large group in for lunch. All in all, the food was average, the price was good, the service was a bit lacking!

Very good Ponderosa, meat was tender, nice buffet too! Look forward to stopping in again! Nice staff too, very friendly… we’ve stopped here once before when going between Missouri & Nashville.
