Super 8 Benson

Don’t stay at this motel. The Indian owner named Ramesh Bhatka of the Super 8 motel in Benson, Arizona is extremely rude and yelled at me. He is unfair, fraudulent, verbally abusive, and emotionally abusive to women, and a price scammer by charging an extra unfair hidden fee after the customers leave. He ripped us off when his female employee did not verbally mention to my friend that they charge $ 10 for a pet to stay, or ask if we had any pets. I was not there at the front desk check-​in to talk to the female employee, so I was unaware about the $ 10 charge per night for a pet. It was clearly his female employee’s fault and her error for failing to verbally inform my friend about the $ 10 pet stay charges, but the Indian man didn’t care, and he still wanted to charge us $ 250 for an undeclared pet. Do not stay there unless you want a hidden extra bill after your stay from the Indian owner. He had price gouge our money, and threaten to call the police on me. The owner yelled and threaten me by saying he will call the police, if I didn’t pay him $ 250 fee for not declaring a pet before my stay. I told him that I was not at the front desk to check-​in, so I don’t know about any $ 10 pet stay fee or $ 250 undeclared pet fee. He kept saying his female employee informed me about it, but I kept telling him that I never met her. My friend arrived late at night around 9pm, and was very tired, and did not notice any signs about a pet stay fee, until the owner told us when we were about to leave. I was in the middle of packing up my luggage inside my room, and the Indian owner barged to my front room door yelling at me. I was shocked that he had raised his voice at me, yelling in an angry tone, threatening to call the police on me, if I didn’t give him $ 250 for an undeclared pet fee. He later lied and told my friend that he was not yelling at me. I think his female employee and him had set us up to charge us a hidden extra absurd high fee, since she did not verbally inform my friend about any pet stay fee. The Indian owner was also the janitor at the motel too, so it seemed like he was the cheap type of person trying to save money from hiring a maid, and the type to scam us for any money he can get. He was walking back and forth around our room many times ease dropping, while sweeping the outside of our room. I was wondering why there was a strange man hanging outside our room sweeping for a long time. He also had his two children hanging out near the cleaning supplies cart outside the rooms. I think his underage kids were also doing the cleaning. I did not see a maid or cleaning lady, except the Indian owner cleaning the rooms. This Indian owner ruined my vacation trip by scamming, yelling, and threatening me. He scammed us of our money, because instead of charging us for just $ 10 for the dog stay fee, due to his female employee error who did not verbally ask inform my friend about any pet fee, he wanted to charge $ 250 for an undeclared pet stay fee. I believe we were set up for this scam. I did not feel like I was staying at an American motel. I felt like I was staying at a motel in India from the verbal and emotional abusive Indian owner. I felt completely threatened and scared by his actions. I think he is the type of person that would do something bad to me. I felt he was a threat to my life, because of his threat, aggressive body language, and rude mannerism. I will tell my friends not to stay at his motel. Don’t stay here, unless you want to be mistreated or scammed by the rude Indian owner Ramesh Bhatka, who will give you a taste of his rip off culture from India.

Huge rooms with a fridge and microwave. Fast wifi, cable and clean sheets and bathroom. Only downside is that the carpet is stained to hell and back and there is not much room to put away clothes if you’re staying for awhile, like I am. Seriously though, strangely big rooms! One of the nicer Super 8s I have stayed at!
