Food was decent. It’s «pub» food so don’t expect the world here. My only gripe was that the waitress(who was nice) was subpar. She rarely came to the table and basically vanished after our food came and never came to refill drinks. Still was an okay meal. Not necessarily some of the poor ratings I’ve seen but not stellar either. I’m sure the beer specials are good though

Well, tried it again, as my friend had a gift card. O boy, at least thr drinkks r good! Yhrw Gestapo owner is still at it! Forget this place, used to be great, now, not at all. I feel bad for the waitresses, they’re trying! The food stinks! The owner ought to be ashamed og hisself! Took a perfectly good place, and killed it!

We came here for Christmas to enjoy a good dinner. When we sat down and the waitress took our order, my girlfriend asked for roles. When then waitress brought the roles out it was hard hamburger buns from yesterday. I ordered a French onion soup to begin with and my girlfriend got a ceasar salad, when the food came out it looked okay. I removed the cheese from my soup and looked inside the soup looked like stuffing mixed with beef broth. They forgot to bring the salad dressing out, while waiting for the dressing we looked at the salad and there was nothing to it. We waved the waitress over to tell her to bring her the check she asked if everything was okay we told her no the food is terrible. It wasn’t against her but the management is very poor as well with the food.

Really should be 2.5 stars, but that doesn’t improve my rating much. I was staying at a nearby hotel and passed by the Pub. It was close to my hotel. When I walked in, the place was mostly empty. The décor was very old. My salad was good, and tasted fresh. My steak, while huge, was a huge piece of fat! I had to cut most of it away. The potato and veg were fine. I do have to say that all of the waitresses were very nice and helpful!

I was so hoping that since the name changed(pub 2900) the food would be better than the reviews. Let’s just say that if I went into a the poorest public school in the area and purchased a school lunch, it would be better quality that the mess put in front of me today. My husband and I started with the fresco bay crab dip. The color and texture of this so called dip could only be described as egg saladish. I tasted zero crab. It seemed to be a sort of cheap generic version of melted velveta cheese. The best part of this app was probably Tortilla chips. The main course– my burger aka a slab of frozen patty and onion rings was just not something I was even willing to eat after the first bite. The onion rigs had no flavor and the«zesty sauce» that came with it clearing was past its expiration date. Needless to say I won’t be coming back. But thanks to the waitress that offered me a coupon as an apology. Much appreciated.

My wife and I used to go to Great American all the time so we thought we would try this place since it is in the same location but under new ownership and management. What a MISTAKE!!! There is only one word to describe my experience was at this place was — NASTY!(All caps was definitely necessary) Let’s start with the appetizer — we got the crab dip, which came in a bread bowl and also included tortilla chips and soft pretzels for dipping. Let’s start with the crab dip. 0 crab that I saw and if someone can actually tell me what kind of cheese was used for the dip I would greatly appreciate it. It was almost neon in color. But the pretzels! Let me tell you! Absolutely fresh out of the frozen aisle at any grocery store… complete with the halfhearted attempt at salting the pretzels! But don’t worry the chef put his own spin on these pretzels by cutting them in half with a very sharp knife. Thanks! I wish I could tell you that the appetizer was the worst part of this meal… but no, not by a long shot. My wife ordered the burger with onion rings. The burger was well below average bordering on terrible. Two bites was more than enough to determine that eating it was more than enough for her. The onion rings assuredly came out of the frozen food section at a cheap supermarket. So dry and tasteless. A quick finger taste of the zesty sauce that came with the onion rings quickly confirmed that it was a possible health hazard given that it tasted like spoiled cocktail sauce. Now, let’s move on to my meal. I got the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, which was described as «hand picked and fresh off the bone.» Yeah, not so much. Tasted like some sort of sloppy joe with unidentifiable meat that was heated in bag in the microwave. Quite possibly the worst tasting sandwich I have ever had. But the bun was toasted, so I guess that was nice? I had one bite and still felt nauseous for at least an hour after eating it. The only thing that was decent at this place was the draft beer, which was actually normal tasting! We will never be returning and I strongly encourage you to never eat at this establishment.

On August 17, 2015 We had such an enjoyable time with a gathering of 30 family and friends for dinner. which included appetizer, a salad, and main course that included a choice of chicken parm, chicken marsala, a beef dish, a salmon or tilapia dish which were all delicious according to my guest it was a great experience and reasonably priced… and under new ownership with new management.
