Original Apple Pizza

Been in the area for about 6 years, originally from Philadelphia and had a hard time finding a great Italian restaurant. This place is great, great service, great food, and great workers. Will continue to go here and will refer all friends and family to this establishment.

Worst experience ever the girl that made the order must have made it wrong or the driver messed up one or the other. They made everything so horrible when the food got here it was cold I asked for extra cheese didn’t get it the cheesesteak looked dry as ever the French fries look like they were cooking an old oil they were all brown this place really has sucky customer service. The owner really needs to learn how to run a business in America. Piece of shit Service I will never order from them ever again. You would think after they messed up the order they would have brought me freshly cooked food warm and let me keep the old one that they messed up on but no they give me food that still doesn’t taste like they just made it and still want their old order back like what are they going to do with it send to somebody else? I should have just stuck with my normal place I order from PIZZA ROMA on bustleton Avenue they have the best FOOD 215−725−6599

Ordered the chicken salad panini and buffalo chicken wrap. Panini had bacon on it and it was terrible poor quality bacon. The panini itself was not fully toasted. The wrap was very loose with not much chicken.
My advise: limit the menu and improve the quality of the ingredients.

Holy moly the menu is amazing! We’ve ordered take out twice; once delivered, once picked up. Enjoyed everything we ordered! Bensalem had horrible pizza shop take out/​limited menu before Apple came– I tossed all my other menus in the trash. Sweet potato fries, deep fried strombolies, pierogies and a crazy breakfast menu. Do yourself a favor and check out the menu at least. ;P

Best pizza place in Bensalem! Their famous apple pizza is amazing along with their delicious pasta, wings and desserts. I recently received catering for the Eagles game and everything was cooked perfectly and delivered on time. There’s never been a bad experience whenever I have picked up food too. Definitely not going back to my old pizza store.

I sent you a message last Sept.9 and still haven’t heard from you. What’s the matter? Can’t understand English? First of all, I just tell you the truth about a lousy pizza (not enough sauce, cheese and the dough were overdone), even the cheesesteaks wasn’t that good (Not enough steak for the price we paid). What are you trying to do? Cut corner? I have known pizza place who does that and just went out of business within two years. Is that what you want? Don’t treat us customers by shortchange us. Just being honest with you. By the way, did you put that message on it just to boost your business?

Wanted to like this new incarnation of a pizza place, but the sausage, peppers, and garlic pizza we ordered wasn’t good. There was way too much mozzarella, so it couldn’t be picked up from inside the take-​out box without a large spatula, and had to be eaten mostly with a fork. Also, it made all the toppings slide to the middle of the pie. The crust was too white-​bread-​y for our tastes; it didn’t have a nice texture or flavor, and seems like a pre-​made freezer dough. The crumbled sausage didn’t have much of a flavor, although the portion per piece was generous enough. The roasted red peppers were good. The garlic was 100% raw and crunchy chunks, and although we love garlic, it was just overpowering. Normally, one sees some lightly olive oil-​sautéed, minced garlic piles blopped around. An inexperienced kitchen seems obvious.
Also, the menu is foolishly big, as in four pages, both sides. This means nearly everything comes out of a freezer, guaranteed. There cannot possibly be enough turn-​over for fresh ingredients with 100s upon 100s of items. There is no focus whatsoever; it smacks of a total inability to simplify and specialize, as well as a lack of organizational restaurant experience. Ex., things are categorized like this: Appetizers, Onion Appetizers, Chicken Appetizers, Spicy Appetizers, Bread Appetizers, Potato Appetizers, Seafood Appetizers. They have FORTY pizzas, under these categories: Pizza, Gourmet Pizza, Specialty Pizza, AANNND, they have this: Apple Pizza $ 9.75+ Syrup, roasted Fuji apples and mozzarella cheese. EEWW, why?
Price was O.K. Good service. Food was below expectations, even for the area. When the online photos of the food make it look totally less-​than-​mediocre, you know it’s going to be B.A.D.
I predict a quick failure, and if not, a never-​ending money pit.

I ordered the Saturday Day Special to get $ 2 off a large Stromboli in my order and had it delivered. I was called several times and asked to repeat the address, and they still couldn’t find me, despite having dropped menus to my apartment complex a week ago. It was all frustrating and rather unprofessional to not have a capable navigating system. When the food finally arrived, it had to be reheated. I looked at the bill, they had charged me the full price despite me specifically requesting the special. And to top it all off, the food was pretty crappy. The fries were overcooked and damp, the sauce thin and runny. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the place, and definitely don’t order it as takeout. Stick with Dominos everyone.

Have tried the taco pizza and ham wrap (see pics) and the ravioli dinner. Ham wrap was very fresh and well made. Ravioli was very good and smelled great. Comes with a nice little salad and a roll.
The pizza was interesting. I was startled by how thick it looked. I generally don’t like thick crust but this one isn’t thick, it’s just puffy. Taste of the crust was not bad. I didn’t like the taco part at all. The beef didn’t seem to be taco seasoned. There was some kind of «taco-​ish» flavor somewhere in it, but it just didn’t work. I also found the liquid cheese very bland. Perhaps with different toppings this would be great, so I will try something different next time.
The menu is huge. It’s not the folded single sheet of paper, it has pages like a booklet. Breakfast items, lots of appetizers, and if you add up the flavor variations, dozens of desserts. It would take a long time to sample everything. The even have reubens, but open faced.

Manager is very professional and helpful. Service is face and delivery guy is very nice. Boneless wings are excellent along with many other items they have to offer. Highly recommend.

Ordered with a group from work today. Food was subpar and half of us threw our lunch in the trash.

I’ve only had the pizza so far and it was delicious. They even gave us an unexpected discount. I look forward to trying many more of their menu items. I recommend giving them a try.
