Great place! Really great food for a really great price! It’s a shame the lame ass mall forced the out! I’m done with that mall.

This place will be missed — an institution. Our go to place for«dinner and a movie» night. Five stars for quality, consistency, and the personality of true Italian cooks. Cent ani. Bonna fortuna! Salute!

Café Riviera has been in Neshaminy Mall for 35 years and always has fresh food. I love their pizza and always looked forward to stopping in. It’s a shame the mall has decided to put an arcade in their place and won’t give them another spot in the mall. They’ll be closing around February 12, 2016 even though 10,000 fans signed a petition to save them.

Café Riviera will never be a 5 star joint because, it’s in the mall but, they are by far the most original and delicious eatery in Neshaminy Mall. They have the convenience of the food court and the atmosphere of a local Italian restaurant. It may not be for everybody but I like the food, I like the place and I like the people, I’ve been going there for a long time, and I hope I can keep going there for a long time.

Went here before a movie. Recommended. Got chicken parm and salad. Really good choices. Chicken parm was good. Sauce good. Chicken wasn’t high quality but decent. Salad a nice touch. Didn’t need pasta on salad. Great value filling meal. Recommended

The food was pretty good here, relaxing atmosphere; This place was a weekly lunch time treat for myself. On Tuesday, 10/20/2015, the Cook used profanity;at my table as I tried to eat there were Gnats flying around the table. Will not be going back.

This is one of the only things I really loved about working at Neshaminy Mall. If I was ever stuck working an open to close shift(especially around the holidays), I knew I could always rely on this place place for a good meal. The pizza is is delicious, as well as the sandwiches. If you opt for dinner, be prepared to get A LOT of food. I believe the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. There’s ample seating. I enjoyed it being dimly lit since I was usually stuck under sickeningly bright florescent lights all day. I would grab a seat in the corner on my lunch break and be perfectly content. It’s clean, quick, and the staff is super friendly. If you’re at Neshaminy and hungry, this is the place to go.

Great food, but rather confusing service. As a newcomer to Bensalem area, I happened upon this restaurant in the mall. It appeared to be a nice Italian family style restaurant. As it was around lunch time, I waited for a hostess to greet me. After several minutes, I decided it might be a «seat yourself» establishment, and settled into a booth. Within two seconds, a waiter appears and rudely tells me it is cafeteria style, and I cannot sit there until my food is ready. I must stand at the counter and wait for my food. I go to the counter and ask for a chicken parm on a long roll. The guy nods, and asks if I want a platter with roasted potatoes instead. I say«sure», and he puts a chicken Parm with pasta on the counter. I am confused, as this is not what I ordered. The guy shouts at me that I did order this, and that is what the platter is. Not explained very well, and I WAS disappointed, but took it anyway as I was starving. The food was pretty good, but rather rude service. If they can improve on that, and actually listen to their customers requests, I may return again.

We visited on Sunday, January 4th and the gal(who’s name escapes me) serving pizza up front was a real treat. Friendly and respectful. She greeted everyone coming and going like family. Give her a raise. This is the kind of person you want working for you. We usually stop in here for a quick slice when visiting my partner’s family. He grew up on their pizza. Love the thick crust, very soft texture and I love their garlicky red sauce!

This place is so good that you’d never expect it to be in a mall. Huge portions, hilarious staff, and awesome prices. Get the chicken cacciatore – the chicken is moist and the sauce is loaded with veggies. The soups and salads are quality, and the everything breadsticks are truly a treat. Pizza here is average, but almost every one of the other pasta entrees I have tried have been great.

Extremely average mall food served cafeteria style. What on earth is all the fuss about?

Such a nice change from the typical fast food crap at the mall. Homemade Italian food with friendly staff. Love it

Can’t believe a restaurant this good is in a mall. All employees extremely friendly and helpful, especially the cook. Extra attention to detail. I highly recommend this restaurant.

While walking in the mall you may only think that café riviera serves pizza, although they serve a mean pizza and always have multiple varieties on hand they also have great eggplant, chicken parm, manicotti, salad etc in the back! The staff is always so nice as they scream at you ciao come stai? A there is always someone there wiping down the tables and picking up left overs so that there is no mess and clutter.

The food is always good and fresh. With the salad, entrée and breadsticks my husband and I always get 2 meals out of 1. You can’t go wrong with their coupons or groupon deals either.

Damn good pizza here. I even had the Italian good in the back but I would give that around 3 – 4 stars so that drops it down a notch. I have eaten with groupons or without. The tomato pie with basil and garlic is my absolute favorite. Most people see the price per slice and feel that a pie is over priced but it is not. Get one and take it home but save your money on the Italian dishes I don’t believe they are worth the price.

When I was a kid my mother and grandmother would go shopping every Saturday with me in tow. Sure enough Saturdays included lunch at Café Riviera. I’m happy to report that 25 years later the food is still as good as it was when I was little. I think some of the employees are the same too! Pizza is great, but they make seriously good cheesesteaks. I know you wouldn’t expect it from this place, but if you are in the Neshaminy Mall and want a cheesesteak go here instead of the food court. You can thank me later.
