I have been a patron for years. I was there today, first thing this morning as you opened the door to three of us waiting to get into shop.
I just finally feel like I need to say something in a forum that will be heard… there are two women that have been here as long as I can remember. One is pleasant always. The other, you know who you are… you need to evaluate your customer service skills. A smile goes a long way. Kind words, a helpful manner… not being made to feel like I am a burden or putting you out when your sole purpose is to serve the needs of your customers.
I feel disappointed to even write this but I’m not alone in my feelings. Sometimes some truth helps us to see the error in our ways.
We have a group of women that love this store. We converse and exchange stories about our finds and sadly stories of our encounters with you.
I tell you these things not to be mean or hurtful but because those of us that shop R. D’s are committed and a sort of cult who love the store.
Now, your attitude won’t keep me from there but I often feel a bit of relief when I am not forced to interact with you.
I am simply one voice.
But I implore you to consider what I am saying.
I hardly think I am the first.
Find a way to enhance the experience we come for.
That store is full of wonder.
You have the chance make it even better.
That’s pretty great I think. Seize that opportunity.

This place should be called «bring an extra pair of undies cause you’ll wet yourself at these prices!»!!
Love everything about this place, down to the music they play! The associates are friendly and helpful, they have an area for you to pile your picks high without the bother of full hands, and the location is great!
Wish it was open more than two days a week, but I can deal! :)
