Owl Taxi

Owl Taxi has provided me with rides on more than a dozen times over three years. They have been reliable and courteous every time.

Rich was awesome!!! Gave us all sorts of fun facts about Central Oregon! Further made our experience going to the Dave Matthews show amazing!!!

I’ve lived in Bend previously & now I try to make it out here every year to check out the snow and scenery. I was staying at the Marriott off Century Dr. with a couple friends & we wanted to go bar hopping on a Sunday night. Our first stop was going to be Corey’s bar downtown, about a mile from the hotel. First I called the Bend Cab company. I asked for a price estimate, and he told me it would be $ 10-​$ 15…hmmmm…first of all I know the cab ride should not be any more than $ 10, second of all why can’t he give me a more precise estimate? I told him exactly where we were & where we wanted to go. At this point I felt like the driver was trying to jack up the rate because he assumed we were all from out of town.
So then I called the Owl Taxi. The estimated fare would be $ 8.80. Now that’s more like it. We were picked up fairly quickly and the fare actually ended up being around $ 7.50…props to them for charging an appropriate fare. The driver was named Mike & he seemed like a pretty chill guy. He picked us up 2 more times in the night and the 2^nd time he was okay with waiting a bit while we finished our drinks. Bottom line, go with the Owl and not Bend Cab Co. The Owl was flexible, on-​time, and most importanly they were reasonable.
