Fitness 1440

Love Fitness 1440 in Bend! There’s nothing like having access to your gym literally ANYTIME you want it! All the classes are fun, the instructors are helpful and nice, and the entire staff is friendly. I’d recommend this gym to anyone in the area.

I have an odd schedule, so the open hours are incredibly appealing. Add to that the friendly and courteous staff that aren’t trying to get up in your business, and this is a great place to work out.
Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get fit.

This gym is awesome! The snow has limited the frequency and diversity of my workouts, but now I can just head to Fitness 1440! Their classes are great and they have many different machines. So happy I joined!

I love this gym! I work lots of weird hours and the hours are so convenient! I love how often they offer Yoga classes, what a great addition to my fitness régime! I’ve been training for various events and triathlete with the help of Fitness 1440! Wouldn’t go to any other gym.

Completed my one-​year membership, gave my 30-​day notice of cancelation and they’re claiming they never received it. So, the month-​to-​month automatic renewal continued. I called my bank to stop payment and now I’ve received a letter from fitness 1440’s debt collector saying I owe $ 74.90.
What kind of gym requires you to mail in a written cancelation notice anyway? They count on people to be too lazy to write a letter and mail it off so they can keep charging you every month. And if they «never received it,» you’re screwed.
These people disgust me.

Absolutely LOVE this gym! The staff is super friendly and I love that there are so many other 1440 locations in the area I can use my membership at as well. They have an awesome racquetball court and I’m so excited I finally got back into playing again.

Really nice gym. Very clean, with tons of equipment. I have been a member of nearly all the big chains over the years, but I think Fitness 1440 has the best feel to all of them. I wish they had one where I lived.

Filthy gym, old equipment but I guess you get what you pay for. I was lied to when I signed up. I was house hunting and explained that my fiancé and I might be moving but still wanted to sign up. We weren’t sure where in CO we would be. I went on to ask if we could cancel. He said if we gave them 30 days it was no problem due to the auto-​pay set up. I asked again to confirm and he repeated himself saying that I could transfer the memberships to Redmond or cancel. I had later called to confirm because my fiancé warned me about signing a contract and they said the same thing. We’re STILL paying even though we don’t go… The Redmond gym is nicer but the locker rooms stink. Lesson learned…

We love to play racket ball. Always can sign up for a court or get on in a short time. Has plenty of other workout too!

The owner was super nice, he took my girlfriend and I on a detailed tour. Then he let us try out the gym for free! They have so much to choose from: classes, racquet ball, working out, sauna, boot camp, and much more. I visited anytime fitness, snap, and elite non of them came close to the size and diversity of Fitness 1440.

I’m so glad I decided to go with 1440 as my gym when I moved to Bend in January. Love the fact that I can go to the South location for hot tubs and saunas, the North location for racquetball, and then if I’m in Redmond as I was last night I was also able to get a quick workout in. All locations are very convenient to get to and the staff is helpful!

My experience at Fitness 1440 was an exceptional one. Being in town for a week, I wanted to be able to keep up with my New Year’s plans to work on my fitness even though I was on vacation. The staff at Fitness 1440 were very kind and helpful. The vibe of the gym was welcoming. My favorite part of the gym was the amount of equipment available there. Never having to wait for an elliptical or treadmill was nice, unlike other gyms where there is always a timing war to catch a machine that isn’t in use. The staff were available to tour me around the building to allow me to see all the features and amenities a person receives with a membership. Wish I would have had time to take a yoga class in their yoga studio and to take one of their group fitness classes everyone was buzzing about. Also, if you are into racquetball, they have a few courts there. The free weight area wasn’t intimidating so I couldn’t use that as an excuse to avoid it… man my arms felt the burn :) All in all, I would recommend Fitness 1440 to all who are looking for a hometown gym. Even heard that they opened another location in S. Bend and one more is on its way in Redmond. Central Oregonians are super lucky. Hoping one opens in my hometown sometime soon!
