Bend Cyclery is amazing. It is rare to find a shop that helps you to feel like you belong instead of like a newbie that isn’t hip enough to be in the store. Eric is what small business is all about. He cares about his customers, his shop, his products and his community.
I was lucky enough to happen into this place and I was immediately offered a free beer and invited out on a group ride with the staff. I had never been on a fat bike before in the snow and let me tell you, it was quite an experience.
I don’t know a lot about mountain biking, but i know way more now since i’ve been frequenting the place Plus their selection of socks one of the best in Central Oregon :-)

My experience was Awesome. I am a noob to mountain biking and Eric, the owner was super gracious with me as a fired a bunch of questions at him. After 2 beers and 2 hours of chatting I walked out with a new bike and some gear at a stellar price! I also want to shout out to Bend bike community in general. I have been to a couple of shops on my search for a new bike and every experience has been really good. Everyone has been super nice and non intimidating.
I lived in Portlandia for the last 10 years and have been to plenty bike shops. Most of them make you feel like an idiot if you don’t know all the right lingo. So cheers Bend, I look forward to being part of the community!

Best bike shop in town. Great location. Super friendly employees and they will take the time to answer any questions you have. Also Good Life beer on tap for after or before a ride!

New to the area and sport I checked out the many shops in town. What I mostly found stuck up employees with little desire to answer my basic newbie questions. Bend Cyclery was completely the opposite of all the other shops. These guys are true locals and are clearly stoked to share their sport and passion. I took my bike in many time thinking it was broken needing new parts. They jumped on the bike right away, test rode, than made adjustments. All for free and right away. Other shops would only take reservations for a 10 days out.
If you want proper service from a legit locals shop don’t go anywhere else in town. They will take care of you and probably even hand you a fresh beer while doing it!

I’ve been to a lot of bike shops in Bend but, Bend Cyclery is by far my favorite… and my «go to» bike shop. The guys there are friendly, knowledgable, funny and make you feel welcome. I showed up first thing in the morning w/​o an appt. & Eric dropped everything…(even his b’fast sandwich!) to get my new YT Capra dialed in so I could get it on the trail… but he also took the time to show me things about my bike, how to make minor adjustments when needed and other tips. I never felt like I was «taking up his time». In the two hours I was there… I was amazed how many people (that came to Bend to go MTBiking from out of town & state) dropped in & shared with me just how much they appreciated the service they received during their last trip to Bend so they just had to come by and visit and say «Hi»! You guys are AWESOME!!!

This place is awesome. Great bikes, great service, and great beer! Owner and crew are unbelievable! Customer service is great. They spent a ton of time helping us get the demo bikes dialed in just for us!

This is the best, friendliest, most knowledgeable bike shop in town! Not to mention the guys that work there are adorable :)

I’ve been checking out all the bike shops in Bend to see what their vibe is. I walked into this place and saw a row of triple clamp forks and enduro style bikes… That’s a good thing! They sell Norco kona and knolly, all awesome brands. They give you beer on tap and have a shower to clean off when you’re done riding.
I demod the Norco range and while I’m not certain it’s the bike for me the shop was great to deal with and hopefully they’ll service whatever bike I end up with.

Love this place, great dudes, super fast and they know their stuff! Ben has been maintaining my bikes since I moved here and I’ve never had any issues. I highly recommend Bend Cyclery!

The is the ONLY place I would ever buy a bike. Eric, the owner, is respectful, courteous, beyond knowledgable and fair on price. Dirt jumpers, downhill and all mountain bikes… Bend Cyclery is a must stop for bike enthusiasts!

Hands down the friendliest employees in Bend. These guys treat everyone with helpfulness in mind. The techs are are at the top of their game with expert knowledge but at the same time make newbies feel valued. I have owned retail businesses and these guys have it right. Personal, professional, and knowledgeable. GREAT SHOP!

Above and beyond! Best shop in Bend. The place to buy your Kona or Norco. We came in for an important part that a couple other shops didn’t have. They hooked us up!

Dropped in looking for a pair of gloves for my son. Staff was very helpful despite being very busy. Keep in mind that this shop focuses on DH and «All-​Mountain» riding. Not an XC piece of equipment in sight. Despite my XC geekiness, they were supremely informative and took time to answer my questions.

My girlfriend and I have bought 7 bikes from Bend Cyclery over the last 6 years because they have the best selection of bikes, they have the best service and mechanics, and they’re really good dudes that shred hard! There’s no reason to go anywhere else.

This is a really fun shop with a great vibe. Erik and Mason are both knowledgeable, helpful and patient about the products they sell. Don’t go in looking for 10 different brands, they tend to focus on Norco. Not knowing the brand I did some research, test rode all the big names including Santa Cruz and purchased a Range. Very happy that I did! This bike has been solid.

Traveling through OR from SF got the chance to meet Eric shop owner at Bend Cyclary and his crew. Super nice people, great attitude and super fast service (w/​o charging me the «need it now» 90 $/​h rate. Got me back on the trail in no time. Check out his «counter dog» — La Fonda, surprised me with its appearance showing up from her mini pad situated on the counter :)

I stopped in with a buddy of mine to rent a bike for him and hit the trails. Both of us are from out of town and only had the day to ride. We ended up at Bend Cyclery on a recommendation from another shop in town who only offered bike rentals with a tour package. Eric, the shop owner, not only hooked us up with a sweet trail bike for my friend, but blew away any and all expectations I’ve ever had for customer service.
Trail suggestions, conditions, parking locations, a ride back to our car, post ride refreshments, camping spots, best place to see a sunset, general good vibes — you name it. He also did a once over on my bike when he noticed some loose bolts that could have led to some big trouble out on the trails.
Whether you’re looking to rent, buy, accessorize, or just get a tune-​up you should for sure stop in at Bend Cyclery. I know I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
