Pretty good. Deviled egg app was delicious. Two different salads, both crap. My brother’s dinner salad might or might not have even had dressing and the Caesar was just crap. The lettuce would best be described as «stalks of romaine» and, sorry, but Ceasar dressing should taste like, well, something. There should be garlic, anchovies, etc. this just tasted like cheese and emulsified oil. I just expect more from a high end place. Steaks were fab. Dessert was good but nothing special(brownie seemed like an overly sweet one you might get at a gas station. Excellent service. Great wine by the glass.

This place just isn’t the same after the remodel. The food is mediocre at best… Found a chicken bone in my chicken sandwich tonight. :-(

Tried 900 Wall after their lengthy closure. Honestly not sure why they closed or if a remodel even happened, it looked pretty much identical to what it looked like before. We sat outside & it was lovely! Our waitress was attentive & knowledgeable, our meals were delicious and a nice wine list. My husband thought the beer list could have been better, but hey not that big of a deal. This definitely has the scene! We will be back.

Nice atmosphere and interior of the restaurant was tasteful and modern. The charcuterie board was tasty, and big enough for all 7 of the people in our group to share. Although our waitress was cute and friendly, my steak came out cold and the burger my mother ordered was over cooked. We sent it back and the chef remade it, still overcooked. Our waitress was very apologetic and took the burger off of the check. The situation was handled nicely. Overall probably won’t have the opportunity to go back, but if given the opportunity probably would go someplace else.

Well a great surprise after being closed for the last 8 months during a remodel. That’s what it said on the door anyway. We walked in and it was like deJa Vu all over again. Kind of the same only not different. A lot of new skinny jean staff males with the lumbersexual beards and everyone seemed very happy and rockin a good vibe … Happy to see this. Food and menu were about the same with pretty good happy hours choices. Always seems like good value so make sure you give it a try. The bar is pretty loud and not good for a business meeting but there is a lot of restaurant seating if that’s what you’re looking for. Fifth star missing only due to them not being opened for so long and then opening the same as before.

900 Wall is back in business, and everyone’s excited about it! Of course the manfriend and I had to go visit asap! The remodel looks awesome, and the service was great. Really enjoyed a glass of wine and the bread and oil. I ordered the wild mushroom risotto, which I have had before and thought it was phenomenal. This time it was just ok. A little salty, a little watery — just didn’t blow me away. I’ll definitely come back for their great happy hour deals, and it’s always fun to pop in here for a drink on a First Friday.

love the atmosphere. Great remodel of the restaurant. Eager staff, very attentive. We received our drinks quickly which were well drinks and good. The appetizer of charcuterie was really good as was the fresh breads delivered to our table. Excellent table against the window and low level noise. We then ordered salads which were excellent. Kale salad and a Caesar salad both really good. Our entrees arrived and they were all so so. The risotto with mushrooms as too saucey. The flat iron steak was interesting, not bad but the Flavors didn’t pop. The pork was very good as was the salmon. The selection of wine our friends ordered was totally not good. They were polite and didn’t want to cause a problem so they accepted it but it was terrible. It was totally unfiltered and tart. We told them to let the waiter know and kind of insinuated it was not good but… drank it anyway. I am sorry I forgot the name but if was a red for around $ 36. Highly recommended by the wine waiter. They did not have their first choice as it had been a busy weekend. Dessert was excellent with beingettes accompanied by three different sauces. One raspberry, one chocolate and one a vanilla cream. Yum! My husband ordered to brownie and that was also excellent. I had coffee with Kalua. The best! Hoping they get their dishes more refined and their wine list properly balanced.

I love the ambiance of this restaurant. Great style and great food & cocktails. Management made us feel right at home in this very touristy area! The restaurant had just reopened from a 8 month remodel. I hope this year is their best yet!

One of my favorite Bend restaurants. I’m glad they finally reopened after a long remodel. We especially enjoy the happy hour menu. Ate in the dining room for a change just after their reopening and was a little disappointed. Tip to the chef: lose the pasta dish. It was runny instead of creamy, and had waaaay too much poppy seed garnish. I’ll stick with the meats from now on… the oysters are always fresh, and the carpaccio is great. Good pizza, too.

The fried pie was to die for. Honey figs, spiced pears, roasted walnuts… yum. If you do nothing else, get this dessert.

Great atmosphere, very attentative staff, and really enjoyed the sausage pizze. But here’s the kicker: I was there during a conference, and to get reimbursed for the expense I need to submit an itemized receipt, which I forgot to bring with me. I emailed the business today to see if it would be possible to get a reprint. They emailed me the itemized receipt within a few hours. That’s customer service, after the sale.

We have come here a few times for cocktails and each time have been inundated with the decibel level of sound which is carried throughout the brick interior. Service is ok the drinks are average in taste and definitely pricey but its the loudness of the environment which usually forces us to leave early.

I’ve visited for both dinner and happy hour and it always leaves me wanting a bit more. On the positive side, they take reservations(via Open Table) which can be exceedingly helpful if you plan ahead on a busy weekend and their bar is usually hopping. During HH, my favorite items on the menu are the Caesar Salad w/Draper Valley Chicken and the Draper Valley chicken sandwich w/Carlton farms bacon, mozzarella, spicy aioli and romaine. Most food items of substance on the HH menu are $ 10 — $ 12. So good food, not cheap food. The HH drink menu actually offers a lot of interesting options, including a handful of cocktails, not just $ off well drinks. And kudos to the bar staff, who were both knowledgeable and efficient. 900 Wall is one of the largest(and loudest) restaurants in downtown Bend and it is a solid option for a nicer meal in town, but I tend to gravitate towards some of the other places on a regular basis.

I have tried this spot a few times. Service has always been solid. I’ve had the deviled eggs, asparagus, A Halibut special, 900 Margarita. Was not a fan of the fritters however. Burger and Prime Rib Sandwich looked good also. I will be back. Price range was also nice.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with reviews all over the board, but we took a chance. Friendly welcome at the door by the hostess, attentive service through out the entire dining experience. Spicy Deviled Eggs, nice amount of heat, a great start. 900 Wall Burger, one of the best I’ve ever had, with gorgonzola and bacon added, of course! Corn Pizza, lacking corn, however the arugula definitely had it’s place on this pizza.

I have to be honest and upfront… A friend of mine is a server here. He has been awarded Best Server in Oregon in the recent past. He has a background as a sommelier. That being said, he was not my server last night when my wife and I dined at 900 Wall. We came in for«date night» and as usual the meal did not disappoint. We were told that there would be a 20 minute wait for dining room seating or immediate seating available outside. WE opted to wait since it was such a hot day. Thankfully, we were rewarded for our choice when it started to downpour outside… Dave 1, Nature 0. Nature’s got it get up pretty early to beat this guy! So anyway it was busy. We found an open table at the bar and were prepared to wait out the seating shuffle there but then decided to scrap it and eat there instead. Not a drawback at all. To begin, I had a couple 900 Manhattans during the meal and they were delicious as usual. My favorite drink and my favorite place in town to get one. We started with orders of spicy deviled eggs and 6 oysters. I found the oysters to be small, as noted in at least one other review. They were plenty tasty and high quality. Not dirty like you get in some ocean-side towns in Oregon. My wife ordered the Tagliatelle and I, the Carlton Farms Pork Chop. So friggin good! Hers is made with locally made pasta, sausage and medium egg. The subtlety of flavors is nice and rich, savory and to be savored. My pork chop was rusticly plated, assertively seasoned. Served with cauliflower, leeks, and kale. It was a treat and I happily cleaned my plate. We decided to split their special malted chocolate sundae and it too was delicious. A great end to this fine meal. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I know there are quite a few mixed reviews of this establishment, but I have always had excellent food and service here, regardless if it is our friend serving us or not. Prices here are a little steep on some items, but in my experience, the high quality justifies the cost.

Had a business dinner at Bend after a day of meetings – but can’t complain when you’re eating well on the company dime. Came here ~6PM on a Thursday night and it was pretty sparse. Maybe I’m just not used to what is «busy» in Bend during an off-season when I’m accustomed to the bustle in NYC/Boston. There was a decent selection of appetizers and an extensive list of beer and wines. Had a local cider and split appetizers of oysters and beef tartare. The oysters were just okay; they were quite small and a little too briny for my taste. The beef tartare was melt-in-your mouth good along with the creamy egg. Piling the two onto a crostini was the perfect bite. Very raw start to dinner, haha. For my entrée I had the Wild Sockeye Salmon & Shrimp that came on top of fingerling potatoes, some herbs, and a pool of crème fraîche. So salty. The salmon itself was great but saltiness in the sauce was a little overpowering. Two colleagues also had the salmon and seemed to enjoy it and another had the Imperial Stock Ranch lamb shank. Then we followed up with desserts, because why not? Had the powdered sugar beignets that came with 3 sauces – chocolate sauce, raspberry sauce, and vanilla mousse. The beignets were soo soo good! You really can’t go wrong with soft, warm pillows of dough. I’m drooling. Definitely recommend getting the beignets! Colleagues had chocolate chunks(these were just little blocks of chocolate???) and chocolate torte that also looked good! The ambiance was casual and modern, which I like. It was a good spot for a business dinner. The service was a bit slow though, and not very attentive for things like drink refills and getting the check.

Amazing is the best way to describe 900 wall. Starting with incredibly knowledgeable staff, that give recommendations, followed by great food. Their happy hour menu is very tasty and high quality. The diversity of the menu is impressive as well. I highly recommend 900 wall!

I stopped here for a late dinner on a trip through Bend not too long ago, and during a full week in Oregon, this was the only meal I had that was distinctly unimpressive. I ordered the kale and squash vegetable side dish, along with a bowl of French onion soup, and a glass of Cabernet. The wine was fine and it was a decent pour. But I’m pretty sure the kitchen has no salt in their pantry. I’ve not tasted such bland food in a long time, and the French onion soup was so sweet I considered sending it back. The only reason I didn’t is that I was exhausted from a long day and didn’t have the patience to wait for it to return or very high hopes that it would improve the taste. Service was mediocre. My dinner mate and I both ran out of water, and we waited quite a while for our bill, which was exorbitant for the quality of the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cool and modern, but I felt like an inconvenience to the staff. This was a very disappointing experience, given the quality of their competitors in Bend.

In theory, for me, almost any spot with thoughtful wine flights and that serves well prepared oddball foodie dishes like sweetbreads should be Unilocaled. I want more of these places in the U.S., not fewer. Viva la Revolution of rich food! 900 Wall does a lot of things right. A good menu coupled with a cool approach to wine flights(I love the presentation and serving of their wine flights, which arrive with great aplomb on the table) a good interior atmosphere and some shaded outdoor seating. I have to give props to any spot that includes some great veggie options. Here you could potentially customize an order of four vegetable preparations and make a meal out of it. Lots of good ideas here and the atmosphere is a solid 4 – 5. But execution is off. We waited twenty minutes before 5PM for a seat outside(we asked for shade) during early dinner, and were finally seated in… an area with full sun. We waited a while to see if we could«handle it» but eventually asked for a switch(it was just too, too hot, blasting heat, and we were drinking red wine.) As we were moving to a shady spot just one table over, our server offered, «Yeh. The last people we seated here asked to move too. They were too hot.» Huh? The sweetbreads we ordered arrived at the table. They were tiny pieces, almost deep fried and they were dry, not succulent like good pan fried sweetbreads can be. The dish was jam packed with caramelized onion that somehow obscured the flavor of the sweetbreads, but didn’t enhance it. Our wine flights were generous pours, but they(three of the four) were one note wines, not complex in the way were were hoping. Maybe it was that blazing heat, but the taste of the red blend flight fell very flat. One of my wines tasted like V-8 juice. Wine flights can be inspiring and provide great exposure and learning, but here I learned that red blends in the Bend heat are not a great combo. We had intended to stay for dinner, but we decided to move on up the street. An impromptu progressive dinner, of sorts.
