Highland Park Apartments

I almost didn’t post this due to not wanting the world to know how great this complex is. The apts. are well insulated (great for Texas heat); they are older but the maintenance staff is quick to take care of any issues. Since the office staff vett well, you can be sure your neighbors are as peace loving as you. There is a sense of community here and a live-​and-​let-​live atmosphere. There are three complexes, and each has its plus and minuses and naturally I prefer mine. The parking can be tricky, but usually due to visitors and sometimes more than two cars in a household. The best part of the parking is that the apts. aren’t jammed close in and there is more open space between buildings. Plus, there are great open green spaces for walking the dog (please clean up afterward!), and several neighbors are bike enthusiasts and the trails are right outside the door. They treat you as if they welcome your presence and not as if they could do without you. But again stay away if you want pizazz or drama, you won’t find it here.

Big Complex… Assigned Parking… but sometimes people feel they can park in your spot… and the barking dogs are a bit over the top. People need to clean up after pets and the ladies that smoke downstairs on the patio at the end of the stairwell… not so wonderful. Apartments are older but cozy and have plenty of closet space!
