I’m torn. My nails always look good when I leave. I’ve had five or six really nice experiences at Fancy Nails and one annoying experience. The experience really depends on the nail tech you get paired with. Most of my experiences deserved four stars, but on my most recent visit I was paired with a nail tech that turned my experience into a two star affair. Overall the salon is clean and comfortable. Service is speedy and polite. But, there is at least one nail tech who thinks service involves shaming the customer. «You don’t come in often enough. You’re just getting a pedicure? You should also get a manicure. Your fingernails don’t look good. Why do they look like that? You need an eyebrow wax.» Thanks, but no thanks on the judgement. I will likely keep going to Fancy Nails, but I’ll stop walking in and instead I’ll make appointments in advance with a technician who I know is pleasant.

I have tried to go three times after one good visit. Each time they were mostly empty but was told they were too busy for a pedicure. For a company trying to make money and stay open they don’t really seem to want to.

I love this salon! I’ve been going here every 10 – 14 days religiously for about a year. I’m probably the most picky person I know about shape, thickness, quality of my tips. Tracy is fantastic but if she’s not there, Henry is also pretty great! I typically broke at least 1 or 2 nails between fills everywhere else I’ve gone over the last 13 years. Tracy is the first who has ever kept my nails from cracking or lifting. She must be a wizard. One time I got gel over tips because I wanted a specific color, and it started to peel on me very quickly. I called Michael, the manager, and he was extremely apologetic, had me come in to fix it and took care of my fill on my next trip. They really know how to treat loyal customers and I sincerely appreciate that. This will be my nail salon for as long as I live in the area!

I just moved here from Nashville, TN and I’m looking for a place to do my nails. This is close to my house and I decided to try it out. So everything started really good, staff was friendly, specially the manager(Owner maybe?). He was very talkative and we find outer had things in common. The wait wasn’t bad 5 – 7 mins tops. They have a ok selection of nail polish and a few of the gel. The tech lady that did my nails(I’m bad with names) was very nice and polite. She offered me something to drink and I actually got it(bad experience in the past at other place lol). They have a large selection of spa pedicures. I got the fancy hot stone pedicure. I turned my massage chair on and sip on my wine. Lady was very good doing the pedicure and she wasn’t skimpy with the massage time at all. The hot stones feel amazing! I totally recommend it(they will be hot(got it Hot?)) but she moves them so fast it doesn’t burn you. So this is were things started to go south. She got a phone call and she actually answered he phone while she was working on my feet(HUGE no-no) She shaped and painted my nails good. After that I was moved to the manicure room. The lady helped me with my stuff to the other room. She put all the stuff on the nail station and a bowl of water so I could soak in my hands. She left without asking me if the water was ok, which it wasn’t! It was burning hot! I ask another tech to please change the water(I couldn’t find my tech) she acknowledged me(she looked at me like«and?») but ignored my request and continue going to the back room bringing her client stuff and not requesting another person to assist me and my tech was a goner. She finally showed again and by then my hands were in the water. The tech started with the manicure. Everything was ok I guess until she cut me. She has been on the phone on and off. After that she was very sorry and her phone finally disappear. I wasn’t a happy camper I just wanted it over(I wanted a manicure to be over?) but I decided to have it finished. Bad idea. She didn’t do a good job painting my nails, my left hand could have done a better job. Over all I give a 2.5 stars. Not too happy. I would go back again for the pedicure again but $ 40 not so much.

I just moved here from Tennessee and I am very particular with my nails and feet and I have to day this was by far the best pedicure I have had in years. Tony was the name of my tech. I booked an appointment to have my nails done on Thursday and I will wrote a review on thst service too.

Went on feb 13 and got a gel manicure. This was my first visit here. Decided to pop in and give it a go since it’s close to my home. The receptionist was a little on the cold side, but whatever I only interacted with her for maybe 60 sec. The nail technician, Tracy, was polite and friendly. I really enjoyed my manicure. However, by Feb 20th, 7 days later my manicure was peeling up from the bottom on 3 nails and chipped at the top on 2. I have never had a gel manicure do either of these things. Very disappointing. And for $ 35 I expect the gel polish to stay. Update: had to lower from a 3 to a 1. Such a shame. I gave them a second try. The man doing my nails almost cut me, every time he clipped a nail. How does a nail technician not know how to pull the finger pad back while trimming nails? I actually had to yank my hand away 3 times. The service was really fast. He rarely let the uv light go the full 60 sec. Needless to say, 3 nails peeled at the bottom and 5 chipped at the top. I also don’t understand how another salon 10 min away can soak your nails in a bowl of warm liquid(acetone?) and then slightly file the gel color off and this place uses the foil and cotton and has to scrape and redo foil and cotton and scrape again, up to 3 times. They really should do some research and figure out how to do this easier. Do yourself a favor and drive the 10 min to Overton Ridge. Same price and at least your color will last a full 2 weeks.

Tried this fairly new salon on a whim today. I didn’t have an appointment, but my wait time was only about 5 minutes. The reception/waiting area is totally separate from the spa area. The salon is less«open» than most salons around here. There are many partitions breaking up the different areas, keeping the overall noise level down while still keeping a light and airy feel to the environment. It’s furnished beautifully modern and simple. Popular music selection was on point and at a comfortable volume. The salon menu had a lot of choices. There were over a dozen«fancy» pedicures to choose from. I ordered the hot stone pedicure which was $ 40. There were other options as low as $ 20. Henry was my tech. Best pedicure I’ve had in a long while! I had a gel manicure, too. It looks beautiful. Of course the best way to gauge the quality of a manicure is by how long it lasts. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been here a few times now, and this place does not have the best customer service. If you aren’t into customer service this is the place for you. Yes it is a beautiful place — but to me I would rather have people listen to me and have a friendly attitude. FYI — you also have to have an appointment or they will give you a snobby attitude. I don’t think I will be going back!
