I’ve been here before. Nothing too stellar, but at least minimum of what you expect. This time I called in a breakfast order as a treat for my husband and I right before we were heading out of town. I showed up to receive my order only to find out they didn’t even have my name or order written down anywhere. I left fuming after the manager tried to tell me, «It will be ready in 1 minute.» Never in restaurant history has ANYTHING been ready in 1 minute. Thanks for wasting my time and saving me money.

Our trip to Cracker Barrel tonight was alright. The server kinda acted like we were a bother to him, even though we were polite and not difficult. Food wise, it was okay. I got the southern trout, and the server forgot one of the sides. There was also a corn relish on top that was very scarce. It was probably an off night for both the server and the kitchen. That’s what it seemed like.

Terrible service, old food. They turned a great experience that I had at the Arlington location into a horrible one here at the benbrook location. The hostess had a bad attitude, monotone, no enthusiasm, not even a smile or eye contact. We sat down and ordered our food and when mine came it was missing both my sides which I had to remind my waitress about twice. My oven fried chicken was hard around the edge and it was tough to cut into, obviously old. When I told the waitress she went and talked to her manager, who didn’t even come by our table, and they told her that it came from the same batch so they’d all be the same… HOW??! It’s chicken, if all the chicken in the restaurant is sitting back there somewhere already cooked and getting old then I see what the problem is, but if I ask you to remake it and that’s the excuse!!! No thanks. And the same lady that was hosting was the lady at the check out. She is rude, and disrespectful to her fellow employees. She was in the middle of checking us out when she turned her attention to the cashier next to her just to demean her in front of the line of about 10 customers. Just because she couldn’t figure out the change on a bigger bill($ 50), she made the poor girl cancel what she was doing, give the person her $ 50 bill back and give her change another way. This was a black lady with brown braids. Never coming back.

Great like always! Love the food, plus the staff is always eager to please! The store is also nice, I always spend extra money there! This place is a breakfast staple! If you have never been its needs to be one your regular list!

Couldn’t even get into the place. Pulled in with our trailer only to find a bunch of idiots had parked in the rv and trailer parking. Last time I ate here I was a fan but definitely not today

Would love to have eaten here but all the RV parking was taken by cars which is always the case at this restaurant. Well guess we will go to the competitors.

Cracker Barrel is predictable, but sometimes you run into those things that make you wonder what manager is on duty. We felt like we were in a bar, the music was so loud we were yelling our order to the waitress and it took a few tries to get it correct. We came to CB because of the RV parking and many great options of food, bit the RV/Bus parking was full of cars, there were plenty of other spots but the RV parking here is on the side instead of in the back like other CB and so people park on the closest spot. The one spot that was open had a tree that the limbs down and made it difficult to park without tearing off the air conditioner.

Worst Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. Waitress was rude as I’ve ever met. I got the steak and eggs skillet which was a mistake… I didn’t want bell peppers but I couldn’t do that without getting all the veggies off because they come frozen in a baggy… I told her I really wanted the mushrooms that was supposed to come with and she told me she could charge me for it if I wanted. No thanks. Then I wanted hashbrowns instead of nasty grits… charge me for that. My wife got a bacon and eggs plate she specifically told her to not make the bacon crispy… they made it crispy… so she asked for it to be fixed… she came back and I had taken the bacon and crumbled it up in my skillet in attempt to make it better… charge us for that. I took a bite of the potatoes that were in the skillet and it taste like a freaking ashtray. I wanted to throw up. I’ll never come here again

We got here, glreserved our table, was told it would be 15 – 20 minutes. 15 m8nutes later, checked back and was told it would be ANOTHER15 minutes! We had to be in and out in about an hour from when we walked in. Its hard to get the wait staff attention because this place is so busy! The food came pretty quick but the chicken and dumplings needed more seasoning. Waitress had left her tip from the table before ys after she finished bussing the table.

You can never go wrong with Cracker Barrel. The food is delicious, as always. Very down home. We love shopping after we eat. A lot of interesting items, not very high-priced.

Matt and I are big breakfast eaters. We typically go to Ol’ South for Sunday breakfast. We decided to come to Cracker Barrel since I randomly saw the sign one day and couldn’t stop thinking of it. I love how the restaurant has a cute country store to look at while you wait for your table. The decorations and clothing inside is really cute and good quality. I might need to go back just to go shopping! I saw this really cute peacock section of house décor that I HAVETOHAVE. They also sell their own syrup, jams, and salsa which is delicious. Our food was on point. You get a lot of food for the price. Our ticket was lower than our typical ticket at Ol’ South and we received more food. Every dish comes with biscuits and gravy… which I am not a fan off, but Matt said they are yummy in his tummy… So you will have to take his word on that. Everything else though came out perfect. Their sausage is AWESOME! We will definitely will be coming back!

Nice location and great customer service. The store has an amazing selection to choose from. Chicken and dumpling is delicious. Not very crowded, at dinner time, in the middle of the week. Would go back again!

Drove here after work to get take out.(Note: I live on the north side of town). Ordered the turkey dinner. Got home and open the container but my order was incomplete. Called the number on the receipt so they could«make it right» and the manager they connected me to said, «I hope you didn’t drive out of your way but if you live close come by and we will give you your missing food item.» I drove out of my way to go here and will not be returning. Disappointed!

Great breakfast on a busy Sunday. A party of four. Seated fairly quickly, quick service and the food was done exactly as requested in a quick manner. Just a really good meal all the way around. They offered new selections to make it more relevant to Texas. Had the spicy southwest sausage and it was excellent. Grits were only ok. The kitchen needs to practice on those.

This place is the epitome of southern comfort cooking. Set in decades of nostalgia — checker boards, candy, coca cola décor — the country store has anything you could possibly want to purchase for your childhood self or your ambitious kitchen. As for the food, I come here strictly for the buttermilk pancakes. They manage somehow to be light, fluffy, and filling all at the same time, and have some sort of magical unicorn butter that makes it inexplicably better. They have alright lunch and dinner food, but you’re wasting your time if you skip out on the pancakes. If you’re not into comfort food, you might just enjoy sitting outside on a rocking chair and playing checkers with the locals as you gaze out on the great Texas landscape(by which I mean concrete highways.) Yee-haw~

I remember these places while driving between Chicago and Kitty Hawk, NC with my parents on vacations as a kid. It was always special to stop at a Cracker Barrel and stay at a Holiday Inn! Not much has changed here. Their front porch is still lined with the rocking chairs for sale($ 149.99), the country store in front with a lot of stuff you don’t need, but just have to have! I don’t think the menu has changed a lick. There isn’t much health food here, although this morning I had granola pancakes and turkey sausage in an effort to be good. Food was brought out within about 5 minutes, and everything was hot. They did forget the syrup, and my waitress was regaling a table about her dogs and I had to wait about 15 minutes. By then pancakes were cold :-((. But that’s ok. CB’s are family places, and I’m sure the staff is encouraged to connect with the customers! Table had not been wiped off when I arrived, and coffee was not checked on even though the place was pretty empty, so I can’t say this place is one of the better Cracker Barrels I’ve been to. I’ve always associated CB with breakfast, but they are a full service restaurant and have daily well-priced specials. For breakfast, you can pretty much get all you can eat for under $ 15 including tip. Lunch and dinner would up that to $ 20 and $ 25 respectively. Plenty of private parking at this location, and in general it’s very clean and organized. I will be back. If you are over 45 and love the nostalgia feeling, stop in ;-))

The American Flag has 50 stars. Why can i only give 5 stars to this American restaurant? Where else in the area can you eat catfish or meatloaf and have the joyful melodies of Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, AND Brooks and Dunn in your ear? I like to wear my ‘Merica pants when I eat here. It blends in well with the patriotic display that greets you in the store area. They have Armed Forces rockers for $ 149. These are the exact same rockers that sit on George Washington’s porch. I chose the US Navy one, very peaceful. They even offer a bald eagle lawn statue. I am pretty sure it is actual size, and on sale for only $ 129. This evening I discovered the darker side of this franchise. According to Wikipedia, the 1990’s had a Supreme Court decision to reverse discrimination. In 2002, a similar legal action to accept gays. Did you know the company started in Lebanon? Lebanon Tennessee, but it still sounds like a safe harbor for Hezbollah. A company with a dark past, but a million old people and country music can’t be wrong. Praise Dale Jr and menthol cigarettes, Amen!

The breakfast is really good, lots of choices available. But this place is notorious for making you wait. So I’m here on a Thursday morning and only a couple of people here. I ordered the usual Sunrise Sampler, no big deal. I was thinking zip in, eat, and zip out. Nope, waited for thirty minutes for some breakfast… that’s unacceptable… maybe if it was a busy day.

I really love this place. I’ve always had a great experience here and the staff has always been friendly and courteous. The food is great if you like that down home southern cooking. It’s always packed every time my family comes here and we still get in and out timely. I would definitely recommend the experience if you haven’t visited before. Ultimately this is one of my hubby’s favorite places.

I was kind of disappointed in this Cracker Barrel. First of all, the smell when we walked in. I understand people go to the restroom but DAMN. That’s all we smelled. The service was good. The food quality was not so great. The mashed potatoes were cold and hard. Brown gravy tasted straight from a cheap mix. The white gravy was congealed. I’ve always looked forward to the fresh home cooked experience of a Cracker Barrel, but this location’s food reminded me of like a Golden Corral.

The pancakes are delicious!!! This place is really cute and there is a store as well. The shop has a variety of items like candy, unique decorations, and candles. The syrup comes with the pancakes it’s a great place for brunch!

Thanksgiving night and there were not a lot of choices. We were so glad that Cracker Barrel was open. The food is predictable and the service at this location was outstanding. Even as busy as they were, efficiency reigned. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. I absolutely love the chicken and dumplings accompanied with the cornbread muffins. YUM!

This review is kinda complicated and the experience was hella crazy. Poppie and I went in for breakfast and for all the wrong reason the cooks couldn’t get the order right after the 3rd time. «Yes»!, the 3rd time. Our waitress(Meme) after having to deal with my divalish attitude just lost it and began dropping shit all over the place, becoming very emotional. Now, I know that I can be a true diva at times but never have I had that effect on a woman, Okaaay! Meme tried explaining what was happeing and after we tried to console her with letting her know that were not upset with her she still seemed to have a red face and teary eyes. Poor thing just couldn’t seem to get over it. When the Manager came over with apologies and making sure everything get fixed right we finally began to savor the down home goodness of our breakfast. Everything was very good. After we finished and our waitress came over I couldn’t help but noticed how upset see appeared and that touched me so I had to give her a hug and blessing. She provided 5 star service even after enduring everything she still made her customer were taken care of. Overall 2 stars is mainly for Cracker Barrel having over 3 cooks in a kichen with frying brains. We will be making a return visit to have Meme service us again…:()
