We had a delicious breakfast this morning. All 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was great! The eatery is located in such a great little town with so much charm!

The food was good and the server was very attentive. The menu was quite extensive and the items were creative and original. We were pleased to find that they had real maple syrup available when requested.
I would have given them 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the hostess. When we arrived, we stood there waiting to be acknowledged. Then, a gentleman, who appeared to be the owner, told us to sit anywhere we wished. The hostess, who was clearing another table, stared us down as we sat in a booth. I said, «Good morning,» to her as she passed. She didn’t acknowledge my greeting.
We sat and she turned around and yelled from across the room, «That table is dirty.» Did that mean she was going to clean it or that we needed to sit elsewhere? We waited a few seconds to see what her next move would be. We saw her grab a towel and a bottle so we figured she was coming to clean our table. She approached and rather than spray the disinfectant into the towel, she shot the table with several streams of very acrid-​smelling liquid as if she could see some species of invisible vermin that she intended to annihilate. In the process, she also disinfected us. She then proceeded to wipe the table.
Fortunately we didn’t have to deal with her during the remainder of our visit.
The attentiveness of the server and the food made up for the unprofessional hostess.

We go here each year after buying our Christians tree. It is a great place to relax and have some good food.

Seriously worth traveling many miles to eat at this quaint local business! Friendly down-​to-​earth service and great comfort food. The chicken sandwich was juicy and yummy. The fries were excellent. They also serve an awesome hot pepper relish and a home made BBQ sauce. Simply done and super — basic food made with fresh ingredients, prepared and served with love.

Been here a few times on our bike rides from Easton. To date the food has been incredible. Had the Granola Crusted French Toast last time and was my new favorite. Service is very friendly and accommodating for us smelly riders.

My husband and I have been here twice for lunch. We drive over I-​80 from PA to get the cheaper gas, stop here for lunch, then take the toll-​free bridge in Belvidere back to PA. I usually get the special. They have a crustless quiche that’s pretty good. Different flavors on different days. The atmosphere is kind of 50’s diner. The food is good and priced right.

I have been here a few times for breakfast and I have always found it plentiful and tasty. The service is usually fast and friendly. Yesterday, I ate lunch here for the first time. Unfortunately, what I ordered wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be, but that is my fault. The food came out fast (even though they were swamped with the courthouse lunch hour) and my order, even though not something I would normally order, was good. Overall, it’s one of the only cute, little places in town to grab a quick breakfast or lunch.

Love this place. Cool to watch them make your food. I always try something new and am never dissapointed

Went for breakfast. Nice ride from Pa. and was well worth the drive. Small friendly place, hole in the wall, type. The menu itself made your mouth water and the actual food was the payoff.
Interesting combinations and some of the regular stuff but all prepared nicely.
Cant wait to go back.

Excellent local joint. Tasty breakfast, sandwiches, and treats. All homemade, same staff over the several years I have been eating here. The smoked meats seem to be a specialty, I did not partake.
If in the area, or taking advantage of the free bridge across the Delaware River, drop by. Western NJ is a whole different place and this joint is proof of that. Quaint and charming Victorian town. Parking on street, but no problem there.
Highly recommended. Try the toasted cinnamon bun. You will not be sorry.

This place was delicious. Small quaint little eatery with delicious breakfast options. We drive over from Pennsylvania to try it. Aesthetically there’s not much to it but dont let that deceive you. The only thing holding back the 5^th star was portions. For my meal it was perfect. I chose one if the regular item omelets. My husband ordered the pumpkin stuffed French toast and was still hungry after eating the few pieces. The cook was entertaining and endearing… He came over to the table towards the end of breakfast with a taste of waffles covered with fresh berries and bananas and asked me to get rid of it for him. So sweet and the baby scoffed it down!

Best place for breakfast in warren county. Try all of the tasty omelettes and egg scrambles (Hog House is my favorite). Home fries are exactly what they should be. You can’t go wrong with the waffles or pancakes or thick french toast either. Been coming here my whole life and everything has always been delicious. I’ve also worked here and everything is always fresh and made right. Pulled pork and brisket smoked on premises. Brisket is used in the chili and in some breakfast dishes as is the pork. They both are also available on sandwiches for lunch. Homemade bbq to top it all off. The Alabama white bbq is my favorite but all are must try’s. Unique specials everyday be it breakfast or lunch. Lunch menu has awesome sandwiches again, best in the area. Try one of the many griller sandwiches you won’t be disappointed.

We were on a family adventure and love trying local joints.
Definitely unique — from the people to the décor to the bathroom (watch your step if the floor is open).
Food was good and it was a nice break from our usual routine.
Fare consists of chili, sandwiches, and such (I neglected to make notes when we were there). Nothing exceptional, but the whole package (ambiance, etc.) works well.
Solid 3 stars.

Thisilldous is a neat little breakfast and lunch spot in Belvidere New Jersey. It is a very cozy restaurant where you’ll likely have a wait prior to seating.
The menu is varied and they feature everything from traditional breakfast fair to nontraditional takes on traditional breakfast food. This is a very popular spot the people from the area and you’ll have a lot of people who come here week in and week out.
When we last arrive quickly seated had great coffee, omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches. Service was great, felt very welcome and topped our experience with a milkshake.

This is a great brunch lunch place. Cozy, relaxed, inexpensive and delicious. Really authentic and great service.

Great menu. Free coffee for motorcyclists. Great quality. Love it.

Hit here for Saturday morning breakfast. Coffee was a little weak, but food was great. Had Two Wheeled. Blueberry pancakes w/​two eggs & bacon. Was very good.
Service good as well. Will go back when in area again
