Lost my business about two years ago… Had to write a review when I saw the rating. I was delivered incorrect orders 4 consecutive times. The third time when they sent me a black chicken breast from being so overcooked they gave me a credit for 75% of the meal. Upon my attempt to redeem the credit they once again missed the mark. I ended up refusing the order and losing my credit. There is another Dicello’s listing here in Unilocal with more horror stories. I recommend checking that one as well.

We received a menu in the mail so we thought we would try them out. Our 1 hour delivery ended up being much closer to two hours. When we called to inquire where our food was they told us the driver was behind a really slow driver but was on his way? So the moment of truth. we get our ice cold pizza and cheesy bread… We ordered regular crust and got thin… the cheesy bread was almost tasteless. I actually loved the flavor of the pizza but wish it were hot instead of room temp. If we ever try this place again we will dine in, but most likely wont be able to get over this bad first impression. Try at your own risk.

Lost my business. So astonished… Dicello’s has definitely hit rock bottom in the business ethics department. To sum a story short:
As of the day I posted this review, Dicello’s menu lists a 14″ combo pie for $ 24.00. Dicello’s wanted to charge me $ 33.16. I informed them that their main online site advertised the price differently and I even showed them their online menu pricing at $ 24.00 with my smartphone. They basically told me sorry, but I need to still pay full price. I was like… that’s false advertising and my party decided not to have the pizza anymore. Another employee informs our party that if we come back to order anything else we will be charged the difference of this pizza. I was so appalled, I almost wanted to laugh maniacally. My significant other says, «I guess we won’t come back anymore.» The employee had the audacity to add, «I guess that’s easier that way.» Really Dicello’s? We have been loyal customers since we’ve moved to Belvidere and this is what your policy is and this is how you have your employees talk to people? Crap business ethics. Embarrassingly disgusting.

So so now. Used to be better pizza but getting salty then the ½ price pizza Sunday ended. No more specials like I used to get on my phone. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff sitting in front of the entrance smoking sets it off right away. Called to place an order for pick up and the item I ordered on the menu is no longer made. After waiting 2 min and 24 seconds on the phone I said I would go elsewhere only to hear the girl say ‘fine’. And to think I always tipped for pickups. Hmmmm

If you come here for pizza I reccomend the gyro pie man it is soooo good. Its basically a gyro they make into a pizza and the dipping sause to it was amazing. I’ll sure be back again SOON!
