I disagree that the prices are high: the clerk charged me $ 1.75 for the same pita that Safeway sells for about $ 2 more(my local Safeway carries this brand). And a large jar of Beirut tahini is $ 20, same as where I used to buy it in Gaithersburg(at Zam Zam), and much, much cheaper(per oz.) than tahini at a supermarket(if they even have it). Agree with the other reviewer that the entrance is hard to find. To clarify, the grocery door is to the left of the loading dock.(The door on the right leads to an office and the bakery itself.)

I bought the wheat flat bread and threw it away. It was doughy and tasteless. I am originally middle eastern I do not recommend this bread.

So this place really is a bakery. A giant pita bread bakery that supplies bread to the East Coast. Needless to say, the pita is insanely fresh & pretty awesome. But It is in an industrial center. It has 2 entrances separated by the giant loading dock. I was confused & almost gave up before I spotted the second entrance. Parking is very limited. They’re closed Friday & Saturday & only open until 3:30 the remaining days. The tiny store has the traditional middle eastern staples including Tahini, Hummus, Bulgur, selection of olives etc. Etc. But no deli or butcher. Prices here are higher than the other Middle Eastern grocery store in the area. But they do take visa & MasterCard & the other guys don’t. Unless you’re in the market for a large amount of pita bread, I’d pass on this place.
