Tony Napolitano owner and operator was nothing but professional and courteous. Over the last 8 years he and his awesome staff have taken care of my many property’s and given me the best prices. I will continue to work with this company and highly recommend them to anyone with carpeting needs! Keep up the great work and service guys.

This is a company that has taken a nosedive. A few years ago, I had a reasonably good experience with this company, getting my whole house carpeted, when American Carpet Outlet was under different ownership. But the current owner Tony Napolitano, who might be the only person running it now, has changed direction for the worse. Don’t do business with them (him).
We’d had a civil and productive conversation over the telephone that ended with a clear commitment to meet for an estimate, after discussing terms and specifications in detail. When that day came, I didn’t get the promised confirmation phone call, so I began to leave messages (politely/​cordially), one after the other, while Tony screened them and ignored them every time. To this day, after that day for meeting has passed, he still hasn’t made a single return phone call.
Maybe Tony didn’t want the gig after thinking about it some more. Maybe he decided he didn’t want to drive out to the Ballston area from wherever he was. But it’s incredibly unprofessional, and damaging to his reputation, to simply ignore all incoming phone calls and refuse to respond to phone messages. Simply put, if you plan to do business with American Carpet Outlet, there’s no predicting whether they’ll show up, or for that matter, what they’ll charge and how they’ll perform. Don’t make the same mistake I did (wasting time and forgoing other options); this company is bad news.
