I have no problems with Ruby Tuesdays in general, but this one in particular is consistently just bad. We’ve been three times in the past three months, really just to make sure we weren’t crazy. The first time we went there, we waited 20 minutes for our orders to be taken and 50 minutes for food(with a toddler at the table). We figured they were short staffed, so no big deal, and the food wasn’t horrible. The second time, the waitress entered our orders wrong so we got completely different food than we wanted. When they straightened it out, the broccoli cheese soup and balsamic roasted Brussels sprouts were absolutely abysmal. The broccoli cheese soup was incredibly salty, and the sprouts were cold and drowning in oil and balsamic. Our third(and likely last) trip, I took my mother who is Ruby Tuesday’s biggest fan. We had some Earth Day coupon that got us a BOGO salad bar, so we ordered that and soups. I’m apparently a glutton for punishment, because the broccoli cheese soup tasted like old seafood this time. My mom tried it and said it tasted like men’s cologne. I would’ve sent it back to get something different except we’d already sent back my daughter’s mini burgers because they had added cheese(despite asking for hamburgers) and she’s lactose intolerant. The salads were fine and the staff was courteous, so that added a star. Belton doesn’t have a ton of good restaurants, so I’m rooting for their kitchen to get it together. It’s kind of a dire situation when I’d prefer to grit my teeth and suffer through a night at Applebee’s to braving the food at Ruby Tuesday again.

Never again! Although my service was nice, the food was terrible, and I even asked what do you recommend! I got the shrimp and sausage over grits! First, off who ever is making the grits, they need to go to grits 101, they were terrible and the sausage, I couldn’t even tell that’s what they were, they were so small! This is my second time with this place and I won’t be back! I should have sent it back, but you hear so many horror stories, so I didn’t I just paid and left, very upset and still hungry!

Great steak and salad bar. Wow! The price is a bit high for what it is though. I don’t usually eat here unless someone else is paying or I have a coupon.

Spaghetti squash is excellent, turkey burger good for diet. Ruby Tuesdays only place that has them.

The food was more for the money. The food was really good. Have kids eat free on tues. Got in asap and the service was very attentive and even went and pit kids meals in fast, so the kids were not waiting and complaining.

I haven’t been to a Ruby Tuesday’s in about a year and after coming tonight, I think it may be another year before I return again. My husband ordered the Buffalo Chicken burger with nothing on it. Only the chicken tossed in buffalo sauce & the bun. We had to send it back when it came out with everything. The second time it arrived it had cheese on it. My husband peeled it off in front of the manager and all he said was sorry. Which is fine but that’s all we got., a couple of «sorrys» from management. The waiter kept bringing my husband diet coke when he specifically asked for plain coke. I don’t think the word, «diet,» is in his vocabulary. We had to ask for the free biscuits and when they brought them, they only brought 2. When we received the bill, it was all there in full. Nothing was taken off. No one offered. It was such a weird dinner. We will never come back. On the plus side, everyone was friendly, just not professional.

HORRIBLEHORRIBLE place to eat. This place needs to be overhauled or shut down completely. Waitresses are rude and inattentive. Bathrooms were DISGUSTING. And the managers could give a crap about anything you tell them. I would give them NO stars if I could.

I have never had this bad of an experience at any establishment ever in my life. The waitress was horrible. She had an attitude and acted like we owed her something. She never came back to our table until we called the manager over then she awkwardly stood there and stared at us. Bathrooms had urine and you don’t even want to know… on every seat. NOT over exaggerating. We actually witnessed the waitress eat off the salad bar several times. The manager stated he would get us to go boxes and she took them in the back then gave them to him to bring out, needless to say we requested boxes from a different employee and when we did he took the ones he was bringing us and threw them away… wonder why? I’m pretty easy going and not hard to please do believe me when I say, don’t eat here!

My husband and I went there because we wanted a salad bar and I had been to the one in Independence and had the buffalo chicken sliders and they were amazing! so we were in Belton and saw the restaurant. It my choice. When we walked in the young man at the door asked if we wanted to sit at the bar like it was where he wanted us to sit. We said no a table please. He put us in the back of the bar at the last table by the kitchen doors. It was only 7:15. The dinning room was empty! They had a lot of tables needing serviced. We ordered the salad bar was lacking! the tomatoes were greenish pink. The carrots were dried out and the mushrooms were slimy. the soy beans were frozen. I could go on but to say it was bad would be an understatement! We ordered our drinks my water glass was dirty. Then the food came out. My meat on my sliders was about the size of a small fish stick. I had all mini bun and sauce and a tiny end of a chicken strip on both sliders. They did have good flavor. We finished. I went to the restroom to wash up and a kichen staff was on the phone hiding smoking an e cig. I came out and a different kitchen staff was at the bar kissing all over a person at the bar! I will not be going back and I am putting a call into management. To top it off no one asked how our dinner was and I saw no one in charge!

Not good! Service was horrible, no refills or biscuits. The Shellfish Trio was horrid. Lobster tail was like a piece of rubber and portions were small. All the waitress could say was«sorry.» Salad bar was mediocre and the ham tasted like bologna. Don’t waste your money here.

Ruby Tuesday, being a chain, they can’t do anything about their menu or prices etc. It is all about, how they present themselves and the food. Service was fine. Nothing outstanding, nothing horrible. Server was ok, but had little to know knowledge of anything, and didn’t seem to care. But, we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. Now, as a former restaurant manager, and owner, what I lay directly at managements feet is the handling and presentation of the food. The half stocked salad bar, was mostly frozen transparent vegetables and a couple of selections of blah, salads. Mushrooms were brown and yucky, the tomatoes literally were clear and see through, as were the Onions. I didn’t even try the bacon bits because they looked like one big clump of half cooked bacon. Someone obviously doesn’t know what they are doing. And the meals, were bleh. Again, like they just weren’t taken care of. The worst of the lot was the lobster. My wife, said her Chicken Bella was pretty good. But the kids fried selections were soggy and just… not right, and my seafood trio, I probably shouldn’t have eaten. I truly believe that if a manager who cared and knew what they were doing had been there, that this might have been a good night. ***Day After Update**** Entire family sick. Stomach bug? Co-incidence? I think not.

Ruby Tuesdays was great tonight. We have been here the last two times we have visited friends in town and the service, food, and atmosphere have always been. We always sit in the bar to watch whatever game is on and the service is always fast and friendly.

Poor service. We were seated in an empty restaurant and all the wait staff hung out near the back at the bar. We waited 12 minutes before deciding to leave. No drink orders, no acknowledgement we were even at our table. Too bad they will never see us again.

We come here fairly often for dinner, possibly because they keep sending us coupons, lol. I almost always order one of the Tilapia dishes, which is odd since I never order fish anywhere else. But it’s pretty dang good here. I do think it’s crap that they charge $ 1 extra for ½ of the sides on their list, but their yummy little complimentary biscuits kinda make up for it. We like to order some of their custom fruit juices, lemonades, and flavored teas. $ 3 each, but you get free refills and some of them are pretty dang addicting, I’ll knock back 3 or 4 of them per stay.

I only go here for the salad bar. Everyone else that works there calls it a Garden Bar… ughhh. They do have great Black and Tans served from their full bar. Salad bar is consistently fresh.

We ate this twice in one day. Once for lunch and then again for dinner. We had a gift card for ruby tuesdays and decided to try it for lunch. I chose the salad bar and the dressing was amazing. My husband got a burger and said it was really good. Later in the day we were talking about the food we had, we had money left on our gift card — so we went back. Luckily they have a large selection and I chose something new and it was good too. Probably wont be back for awhile, until I get the craving for a good salad bar.

I was taken here for lunch today by a group of women from the church I pastor for my birthday. It has been a long time(four or five years) since I have eaten at a Ruby Tuesday Restaurant. I liked the diversity of the menu. I ordered the salmon minis, which came with a salad from the salad bar. The salad bar at Ruby Tuesday is awesome. Four types of lettuce(iceburg, mixed greens, spring mix, and spinich). There is a wide selection of salad toppings and they were all fresh. There were a couple of prepared salads like pasta and apple(waldorf) and the selection of salad dressings was diverse. The best part of the salad bar is the home made coutons. Had I known they were so good I would have got more o my salad. My salmon minis came with french fries and they were not too crisp and not too salty. They were good. The salmon minis were good, just the right amount of spice and the sauce was not too thick as to over power the salmon, Since it was my birthday, I was given a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was rich and delicious — the perfect topper to this luncheon meal.

Let me start by saying I went to Ruby Tuesday’s because it has been a long day and my friend suggested we go for a couple drinks(they have that special $ 5 premium specials all day and so we went to take advantage of that). So this review is specifically for the drinks/customer service. We get to the restaurant and there is no one there to seat us so we go into the bar area, grab a booth by the bar and read the drink menu. We decided to go ahead and try out their Long Island Iced Tea, the waitress puts in the order and that’s where things went downhill. The bartender Josh is talking loudly with a couple waitresses that are off duty, they are discussing previous customers and bag mouthing different people that had come in. Josh gets the order and apparently one of the waitresses dared him to add extra coke into the teas, I know this because he said«Well since you dared me to add extra coke, I will» I can hear all of this and I am keeping my mouth shut because I am hoping he’s talking about someone else. The drinks arrive and I quickly found out he was talking about our drinks, which tasted horrible(how do you mess up a long island ice tea for goodness sakes!) I take a couple sips as I hear the bartender say(while laughing with the waitresses) «they haven’t complained about their drinks yet.» Josh was constantly being loud talking about how difficult his job is, flirting with the waitresses is and saying that he’s so exhausted after only working the bar 3 times. I was getting annoyed and asked for the check and left. You’re probably wondering why I didn’t ask for a manager, well to answer that question the woman that I assume was the manager was engaging in the bad mouthing of the customers with the other employees so my complaints would land on deaf ears. I do want to mention that our waitress Abby was extremely sweet and not on the people gossiping with the other waitresses. Geeze been off Unilocal what seems like forever and my first review back is a negative one… so disappointing.

Good food, good venue, and good service; really about 3.5. To be very truthful, my biggest memory is that I over-tipped the little cupcake waiting on our table — and it was NOT for the service! Old age brings on some desperate moments. Again, we were in one of those sprawling just-really-beginning-to-be-developed areas.
