Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios

It took me a few decades to work up the courage I thought I needed to take dance lessons. And i’m still barely a beginner. But I do believe I will learn to dance to the level I decide I want. The plan here is well thought out, so that the beginning student quickly learns the rudiments of a number of basic dances. The instructors are sincerely interested and very helpful. The practice parties are totally supportive, and both instructors and more advanced students are supportive of us newbies. Within 3 weeks I was able to spend a night dancing with — and cementing a relationship with — my new partner who is much more experienced; while I can’t match her skill yet (she has 10 years’ head start on me – I don’t embarrass her; and, tough as it has been to admit to myself, I’m really enjoying the entire experience at the studio
